• Hope you get a good result! Did you have to go all the way to Stoneleigh for it?

Hope you manage to muddle though the next few weeks, the 25th will soon come around xx

HI DF

bet you are glad the exam is over. I hope you passed what a lovely achievement.

You are really busy by the sounds of things but I am glad there is payment for your hard work to help with the debt.

• Good Morning :) I'm slightly more with it today, yesterday morning I was shattered though come the evening I was wide awake! It's just as well because I got a job in so had a crazy night. All done by 2am though so let's hope for good results.

I'm feeling fine though a bit of heavy eyes this morning. I've signed up for weekend work so let's see what gets offered. It's all a juggling act but will be worth it when I am DF!

I think we might have a lasagne tonight, nice comforting food and I even have a garlic bread courtesy of my lovely Mam. Will have to plan in making it.

The B H S ex@m was at Beverly Pink, near York, so it took us almost 2 hours to get there - what a day we had! I wouldn't change a thing tho and to pass would be the icing on the cake. I'm already tentatively planning stage 2, so I hope that's a good sign! The goal is to work up to yard owner's cert as that's what I would like to do but one step at a time.

Money wise, thankfully a quieter day yesterday and today. I've had some nice idea for my Mam for xmas too. Looks like she's got bone density issues due to the cancer treatment she had :'( so I shall give her lots of pampering, homely gifts at xmas and for her birthday. Some home made chocolates too, maybe turkish delight as she loves that.

Thanks for the encouragement LAM, means a lot. I'm happily plodding through, trying to go quicker on some parts but this time of the year is always going to be slow with extra payments. Job#2 is really helping, so I'm so pleased I started doing that.

Take Care everyone, happy friday to you x

• Fingers crossed, but I'm sure you've sailed through it :) Fancy moving up my end of the country to start your livery yard...?

• Morning diary land :)

Caz - how lovely. After a stinky start to my Monday morning, this brightened my day!!! So cheap too and all that land!!!! Bliss.

Well this is the week we should hear re the results, so fingers and toes crossed. My bets are on tomorrow at the latest, secretly thinking it might be today. I hope I pass, it'll be a huge boost.

OK money wise, things are upside down this month still. I've got a few bills waiting to process and I couldn't tell you if I am coming or going so I'm sitting tight and hoping for the best.

Food this week was £55 which will see us through until next weekend and then pay day is a week tomorrow, so maybe just £15 more on food and I have cash for that.

I didn't end up getting any weekend work so I was secretly pleased, though I do need the cash, I spent a lovely weekend mostly with the horses. I think I saw DH at some point ;) Only kidding, he took me out for a meal on Sat night because he is lovely and we really enjoyed it.

Again, we struggled for midday lunch on Sunday (we have A Sunday lunch at tea time) so I need to prepare for that this week, so we aren't tempted to spend on fast food. We didn't spend though yesterday so that was good.

Also, I've had to give in and get the heating on a bit so that'll be our gas bill going up. It's on for 30 mins on a morning and from 3 until bed time but only at 17 degrees which is warm enough for us that rush around in the house alot, as if it's hotter than that I get a sweat on when I'm doing my jobs!

This week I have many jobs to be getting on with for the day job, so that will keep me busy and occupied! I've booked on for 3 shifts for job 2 and not heard back from job 3. I'm going to have a jump at the show on Wednesday as I've not been in for over a month, so I want to do that. I've also been doing some ad-hoc decluttering and got rid of loads of junk that shall no re-enter our lives. All for the greater good! I think that's it this week so I shall get my head down and get on with it, rather than procrastinating on here :D

• Every time I write that now, I get a feeling that I don't have quite that long....!

Some AMAZING news. I won something!!!! A pair of horse clippers, how amazing? They should be here in the next day or so (along with the exam results which didn't arrive yesterday as I thought!). I'm so pleased :) It's like a step into the next chapter as I will be able to offer it as a service and make a few pennies.

Speaking of which, sw@gs still haven't coughed up. They have until Thursday so I will check again then.

So today is my long day and I had a bad night sleep so I hope it works out ok!

Work is hectic for the day job, a million things to do and not sure where to start again.

Tea tonight is just chicken and pasta/rice, whatever your preference is as the chickens eat the pasta/rice LO's.

Have a good day all.

• Good Morning diary land

All quiet this morning. Except my tin opener has broken so I couldn't make tuna sarnies meaning DD has cheese and I have none. The amount of money we've spent on cheap or run of the mill one's means I could have bought a mains powered one! We go through so many tins so I may just bite the bullet and get one.

I didn't get a shift last night which I was quietly pleased about as I was tired however I needed the money so bitter sweet.

My competition winnings are coming today - I've had an update to say they are on their way :D That's me practicing clipping and on some poor unsuspecting horses!

The chq's still haven't been cashed so my account looks scarily full. It's not the case, I won't have anything left when they are cashed!

Tonight is tidy up wednesday so after work and before the yard, I need to:

Empty DW and refill.
Tidy and clean kitchen tops.
Put washer on.
Put ironing away.
Hoover through.
Dust the room, as little as possible lol.

I'm planning on jumping tonight but it's only £3.50 as I'm doing the clear round only. I'm yet to do a "class".

So nothing much else to report, it's that quiet time where waiting for next pay day seems an age away.

• Or is there???

Morning diary land :) I'm in work slightly later today (got in at 9:15) as I had an invite into school to see DS's books and his journey profile. So I went into breakfast club with them both and got to see what they do, it was lovely. The school really is nice and I felt all warm and cosy when I left.

I've been thinking about the Xmas holidays. I finish the day job on 19th and was going to work every day the following week on the 2nd job but I think I am going to just register for the minimum meaning we can have some time out together. I do need some.

So that then got me thinking about things to do in the Xmas holidays and what I would like to achieve. For example, what can I do to make my life easier in the New Year. I have a few thoughts and shall make a list - not like me ;)

Money wise, 1 of the chq's has processed (going out, not in, unfortunately) so just one more chq to process. Then a work expense to pay which I will try to get out just before next pay day so it doesn't mess those figures up. Finally I need to get some money to the farrier as I owe him. Last night cost me £3.50 but was worth it, we had a nice clear round :) :j:T

From yesterday's list I have everything except hoovering upstairs done which I will do as soon as I get in then the house is back on track. I need to get DH's overalls washed for tomorrow and then the washing's up to date too. Go me!

Tonight, I'm on shift but I don't know if I will get anything assigned as didn't at the weekend, nor Tuesday so will see.

Right, busy day ahead, best get cracking.

• It seems really, really quiet at the moment, I didn't get anything on Tuesday either, though I got a big pile through for tomorrow around 5.30 this afternoon.

Any news on the exam results yet?
• Morning diary!

Caz - I got a file last night in the end and I also took that monster that was offered via email - wish me luck. It's for Tuesday am. I enjoyed the little break I had but back into it now :) Nice size file last night so I was in bed by 1 and don't feel too bad this morning.

It's funny you know, having this second job makes me realise (even more so) how important every penny earnt is, as it's not easy going (for me, yet) so I feel like I have earnt this money more so than my day job. Strange but true.

This morning I also felt the need to try and reclaim my overdraft fees from when I was a student so I sent off a letter and await their response. Anything I get will go straight to the debt, fingers crossed.

We've also had a line on the lottery tonight and tomorrow. Even if I could win myself enough to set me to zero, I'd be over the moon! I'm happy to work for a living.

DH is getting really physically tired of his job, it's physically draining for him so the sooner we can get him out of there, the better. Ideally, he will work on the livery and take a massively reduced wage, which is totally fine, but we need the farm first :) I hate seeing him in pain and his hands are all infected from cuts despite wearing PPE.

So the race is on, when can I shift this debt, and how can I do it quicker?
