It is possible to ignore the suggested crossing and book the crossing you would prefer using the ferry booking link in the confirmation email - provided of course that your dates are included in the Sun ferry offering.

And I echo Artichoke's thanks for all your efforts with the codes.

I take it to do that I would have had to NOT book the ferry at the time I booked the accommodation on the Sun Website. Now I have selected the Portsmouth-Caen crossing I can't change?

I can't see any link to ferry booking in the Confirmation email.

  • Hi All

Was so glad to be of assistance on Saturday night by giving you all the last word. I myself have been looking on this site for the last few years for the code word, and always been so happy to get in before all the other bookers.
I haven't ever posted before, but wanted to return the favour.
Thanks to all of you code crackers for your efforts, I tried various 2letter 2 number codes before I remembered about my friend in the know ;) sshhh
    Happy holidays everyone xx

I don't know if you only get the link if you didn't book the ferry at the time of booking.

I don't know if you can change it. However, as the crossing you got and the crossing you want would both be with Brittany Ferries, it might be worth calling Brittany Ferries and asking if you can change it.

My confirmation came with a link to this website:

    https://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/ferry-promotions/

(It has a button which says "Book your ferry - click here")

Where it is possible to book for 7 nights, a radio button will appear next to the park's name once you have entered it as one of your selected parks. If no such radio button appears, then 7 nights is not an option.

The same applies to upgrades and half board.
