Yes, used the 0845 number suggested and they said they'd refund as they'd 'fixed the booking' after. Definitely call them or email through the website. They're refusing to book the campsite that was booked even though I'd not listed that one as they don't believe me though!

I'm glad the number worked! :)

  • Hi,thank you for the prompt reply.
I am not sure if I booked self catering or half board.
This is the confirmation I got for the booking...

Holiday Park : 158 - Butlins Bognor Regis
    Accommodation : STANDARD
    Party Size : 3
    Holiday Cost : £40.25
    Amount Paid : £40.25 (Paid Sunday 12 January, 2014 @ 21:31:16)
    Service Charge* : £40.00 (£10.00 pupn)
    Entertainment Passes* : £48.00 (£12.00 pppb)
    Total Holiday Cost : £128.25
    * These will be invoiced direct by the holiday park with your accommodation confirmation. Entertainment/Clubroom passes are optional and can be deducted.

Any ideas if is Half board or not?

If you booked self catering then you get a standard apartment - which at BR is one bedroom with sofabed in living room you can phone and upgrade to silver apartment which is 2 beds for about £40

The entertainment passes are optional - although Butlins will tell you that you need them to get into the pool, ents venues etc but in reality you don't.

Cant comment on dining packages as we go self catering and take easy food ie pizzas for first night, pasta and ready made sauce, ready meal currys etc that you just bung in oven....

We have eaten in the dining restaurants as you can pay on the day and just go for one meal all inclusive but it was £50 for a family of 4 for an evening meal all you could eat - but i think it is expensive if you do it for every meal... and too easy to overeat just for the sake of it as it's paid for:o

No idea!! It looks like mine in previous years for self catering BUT i have never seen a half board confirmation !!

Can i ask what dates you got? and which website you used ie sun perks, priority code or the other one? I was trying for Butlins oct half term but it did not come up..but maybe your half term is different dates....

  • I booked trough https://www.sunbookonline.co.uk/ ,we are in South West London so our Oct half Term is from the 20th.
I guess I have to wait until Butlins contact me to find out what I am getting.I hope I can change or upgrade.
So far we are happy that we got something anyway.

Great, thanks for the info...sounds silly but I am really looking forward to it! I know that my son will love it! Every time the ads for Centre Parks and James Villas are on ,he starts pestering us only to be told...too expensive...can't afford it ,etc! As soon he finds out that there is a waterpark at Butlins he will forget about James Villas! LOL

Did anyone who booked a French holiday manage to get a Plymouth-Roscoff crossing?
I was only offered Portsmouth-Caen but would have preferred Plymouth-Roscoff.
