This is useful to know, thank you. It shows that it is worth having a bit of a play with options in order to try and get the one you want.

Anyone managed to get butlins Skegness? Been trying since last night. No matter what dates I try can't seem to get it

The Sun ferry offer does not cover the May mid term break.

So yes this is an option, but is not available at a reduced rate.

I was looking at Eurotunnel and using tesco vouchers, it's worth a look.

I couldn't get Duinrell last night but managed a back to back booking (using 2 codes) at Hendra in Cornwall. I telephoned them today to ask if we could have the same MH for the week rather than move half way and they said we could but it would be an extra £12!! I thought this was a bit cheeky, especially as us staying in the same caravan would save them having to clean 2!!

I would do that, except I flattened my tesco points getting my DS Beats headphones when they were on special for Christmas. I am therefore going to have to part with hard cash to get to Duinrell

Not impressed at all that there were 2 parks available but not one for a half term break we could do..

Yes this is the right way to do it...I only ever go for butlins bognor and notice they go very quickly. I did not get my 1st choice date of 23/05 I actually don't think its available.

A tip I learnt from here a few years ago on how to finesse even further is to put your 1st choice date n park for 1st n second choices then for the others put down really hard to get parks (Europe or Devon one's) then sought after dates (half term/bank hols) doing it that way brings up your available options....but remember sometimes dates n parks listed are just not available rather than all gone...

Hi yes, I got 3 nights at Butlins Skegness. I actually got two holidays there but am selling one for no profit as booked the wrong dates originally! - see my previous post, its Friday 6th June to Monday 9th if interested.
