Your opinion does not interest me.

    Why ask for opinions then?

    Why ask for opinions then?

Read the opening post - I asked for an e-mail address or website where to leave comments. I did not ask that non-sympathetic members make personal assessments as to the nature of my complaint. I was having difficulty in finding what I was looking for hence the reason I posted; now for one to have provided an address coupled with a comment to the effect that my grievance is in their eyes minor, this is fine. Nobody has done this though, either they have done the honourable thing and provide sought after details, or they have used this thread as a soapbox to whimper about their disapproval. Your question has been answered.

I never use capitals or correct punctuation or spelling sometimes, but its still readable, which is more than can be said for the op's receipt as he didn't get one.

Well if he wanted one he should have asked for one!

And there is no step down this is still beyond belief in how it's such a petty thing to complain about.

Out of curiousity, if this is "petty", why don't you find another thread instead of waste hours jumping back and forth to add absolutely nothing conducive.

And I bet if your local Tesco had it's way they wouldn't do business with you!

Part of receipt suppressing receipts is to make the transactions quicker instore thereby reducing queue times.

Really don't understand what the issue with asking for a receipt is, if you want gold plated service buy your baked beans in Harrods.

According to you then you should be replying 'Your opinion does not interest me' to every post apart from wealdroam's as that's the only one that's provided an email address. The rest are simply... opinions.

Admit it - you're quite happy to hear opinions, just not the 'non-sympathetic' ones. Your ego is too fragile for internet forums. Yawn.

My sort? Oh you mean the sort who asks for receipts in stores and doesn't make an issue of it.

I don't work in retail anymore.

If you was to try that letter in any of the stores mentioned they'd all laugh at you and realise what a big tool you really are making this non issue an issue.
