We use pampers at the moment as a lot of nappies come up really short on my lanky lady and then leak over the top which is vile.
We're currently struggling to nap as she's vomited an entire bottle (very unusual), trying dry toast before she screams the house down due to hungry/tired. No idea what's caused this, totally out of the blue...0 -
Just as we were discussing change bags I saw on hotukdeals that pink lining are having a sale with bags at up to 50% off. I have been tempted especially as they have a key dongle... May have to fess up to OH and get him to list my Cath Kidston one on ebay. My name is Oscar the Pug and I have a problem with online shopping :eek:0

Afternoon ladies, we've got OH's boring Dad coming to visit until Monday, luckily I told OH he couldn't come yesterday evening so I spared myself half a day
LO slept from midnight to 6:30am in the moses basket for the first time last night, with a feed at 3am. She refused to go back in there after 6:30am though and wanted cuddles with mummy, so we stayed in bed until 10amlush!
I've got some really sore stomach muscles todayI think I had her in the sling for too long on Thursday and am suffering for it today.
OH really annoyed me last night, I'd done 10 minimum nappy changes yesterday. LO did 3 poos in a row in clean nappies, he begrudgingly did the first 2, then refused to do the 3rd stating "I just want to stop today!" pah! I'd love to stop too, but I don't get that option with a LO. She's a little angel, but a night off bum changes would have been lovely.
Nappies: we're starting to use washables in the day, they're a little loose around her legs though so I daren't use them for night time or the 11am poo apocalypse, but they seem to be doing ok for the rest of the day.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

We are getting on well with tesco nappies - pampers no 3 don't hold in Rebecca's poo episodes! Not keen on boots as you can undo & redo that much (little wriggler doesn't let me put on properly first time around!)
We have reusables but every time it try them they are either really big, don't fit right or leak - plus drying them without using the tumble drier is near on impossible with the weather we have been having! (Unless anyone has tips?) will not give up just yet - but might leave it until weather gets better! I use reusable wipes with nappies too!
Rebecca had her 16 week jabs yesterday & is grumpy! She also has a cough! I think she is at the 4 month regression - all the symptoms but also signs of teething!0 -
nessie - I put the resusables on an extra spin cyclewhich seems to help drying timesDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Our first is five and at school, just wondering if anyone else has/had the same age gap and how they coped with the school run and trying to get baby breastfed without being late for school. Husband is back to work Monday morning so will have to do the school run with little one in tow :-(
No tips, but congratulations!
LO just moved up from size 2 to size 3 nappies. I have 3 £1 pampers coupons so I was thinking of getting a few more size 3 baby dry and trying active fit nappies. I already have some boots and sainsburys size 3 nappies. I'm going to donate my remaining size 2 nappies to a sure start centre. the sainsburys size 3 nappies have an adorable giraffe on them
Bangton my LO is going through sleep regression - he used to sleep 5/6 hours in his cot bed. He now does not settle in his cot bed and only sleeps with me in bed or in his bouncer seat. He also wakes up every 1 or 2 hours! He also gets periods of being fussy at the breast.
LO gained 6oz in 2 weeks - thats 15 oz in 3 weeks which is pretty darn tooting good! HV said leave it 4 weeks until next weigh in.
Regarding changing bags - I now use a Matchel when I'm out and about. I got it for £18 when mothercare had a half price sale on all changing bags. In it there is:
*3 nappies
*wipes
*few nappy bags
*muslin cloth
*sleep suit
*vest
*wallet
*perfume
*paracetamol
*keys
*the bag opens out into a changing mat
*I can squeeze his red book in and other bits if needs be
I use the boots free changing bag as a downstairs changing station. I got one of these organisers when I was just using a rucksack but it can convert any bag.0 -
benice and those going through 4 month regression. What do you/did you do? Let lo just sleep where they want when they want? He did sleep well ish last night. Woke 3hrs after feeding but was easy to settle and had some milk which I expected due to how little he'd had all day. Then he slept till 5 and got up for day but cried and cried again after feed until my oh rocked him to sleep and let him stay on him. After every feed he cries once he gets to 4oz bar the bottle last night after calpol. So sleep regression could be it but I'm sure it points to teething although my mum is now mocking me and saying teeth don't come till 7 months  and treating me like a prat!0

For anyone using pampers, I get mine delivered monthly from amazon and they work out a good bit cheaper than in the shopsMy Debt Free Diary

Bangton - my friends little girl already has a tooth at 11 weeks. I've heard some babies are born with teeth though I've never seen any myself. Both my girls got them at 5m. Little dude started teething at 9weeks. XxDD1 June 1997

Thanks Angelmummy. Hope things are well with you and little one. I knew it wasn't common early as such but that it was possible and I actually think lots of babies lo age do. Oh came up with the idea to switch to fast teets today owing to fact sucking seemed to hurt him and he took 8oz for first time in days. Could be a fluke we've only done one feed at that and his bedtime bottle has been back on medium teet as he was shattered and I didn't want to overwhelm him. That backfired though as he was crying again after 4oz so he's had calpol tonight again. I hate taking medicines and giving it so I really don't want to be here tomorrow saying he's had calpol but he gets so fretful I just wanted to help him. Another thing my mum scoffs at..giving calpol. He's 4 months and had one dose yesterday and one tonight. I'm hardly ramming it down his throat! Sorry that sounds like I'm mum bashing. She is great but she doesn't half act like I'm doing a bad job!!0
