I quite like H&M for clothes for my A, not 100% sure what the boys section is like though but might be worth a look.

I also find the odd good thing at TK Maxx.

We've had a most enjoyable afternoon playing with stickers. I found these and removed the bit between the stickers. They're more like a vinyl than a sticker sticker so go on and off the boards really nicely.

I love H&M clothes on my little boy, they have some really fun stuff as well as good basics and the pricing is reasonable. We've had cotton joggers and velour ones from there plus lovely leggings and boy tights. I do think the sizing is quite varied though - sometimes coming up v big or v small! So take some joggers from home with you to compare sizes maybe!

Those stickers are fab - I bought some a few months ago, and LO was given another pad for xmas. She particularly loves sticking them on our back door (double glass door)! Great for plane journeys too :)

Zara or Polarn O.Pyret for joggers/leggings, they're out favourite.

I don't like joggers either but have bought h&m ones for nursery, My A can manage poppered trousers though and we need them skinny skinny fit as he's so slim, if the button pops open he's fine, it's just proper buttons he can't do so I wouldn't buy loads of joggers just incase your A is the same.

Bought 2 new car seats yesterday, one for my dads car so he can do nursery drop off and one for our inlaws. £350 later and I want to cry. Lean month for us

That was my thinking in getting them Nutella ;) I also got this and some more of these as they are both things she loves doing and will do for some time, but no noise or mess and relatively compact for travelling.

I hate shopping for myself, but LOVE LOVE shopping for A... I would go so far as to class it as an addiction :o

Her trunki arrived yesterday afternoon. I took her for a ride on it round the downstairs and she giggled the whole way round, and then insisted that we showed Oupa on skype and then later again once OH got home. She has also pushed it around the house herself, and ridden it around the house herself, and lifted it and carried it around the house so if nothing else, it will be a good toy! Looking forward to our flights with it actually but am going to let her play with it over the next few weeks to get really used to it.

Uh oh. Not a brand I'm familiar with, but I've now had a look at their website and want to buy *everything* :D  What's their sizing like?

On the bigger side I'd say as its made for cloth bums, but I'm not sure on the kids stuff rather than babies so maybe true to size? :)

  • Thanks for all your tips guys :) very much appreciated. We have some h and m ones for nursery. I do find, not sure if anyone else with a boy does too, it's very limited on the trouser side for boys!! With girls you can do all the different leggings, tights etc etc where as boys it's jeans, chinos or joggers - which are always very plain.

I have found some bits I love on zara for him. Next issue is trouser side, we have lots of zara tops and tshirts which fit fine in 2-3. I have no trousers and the zara ones I like only go up to 2-3, does anyone find them small?

Gilly, I feel your pain on those car seats - ouch!!

We're still in 18-24, 2-3 just fall down and he giggles so much, but the 18-24 are looking a little short now. Id say because they're european branding they are a little smaller, probably. You'd maybe need to go to the next range up in Zara?

I know  hopefully the seats should do him a while though, you'd hope :o kids, who'd have 'em.
