Welcome Mary, glad your LO is OK
Bangton I'm trying to encourage LO to like cars and motorbikes for the same reason. I'm envisaging daddy taking LO out for the day to watch racing whilst mummy has a lovely relaxing day at home0 -
Anyone else watching Secret Life of Babies on itv right now? I'm learning lots! Worth catching on Itv+1 or catch up tv...fran-o0

Evening ladies,
Congrats and welcome Mary. I remember reading your posts when you found out you were expecting a girl. I'm so glad everything has worked out for your family.
We've had an awesome day, took lo to soft play for the first time and have to say I had more fun than him, felt like a youngster again! But lo was brilliant in the ball pool and climbing about. It feels like he went to bed on Saturday and grew up over night, he's been a different toddler this week. Trying to say more words and just all grown up!
Fran we watched the baby program, I learnt a couple of new things also, we also watched the quads before it, and remembered all the early days of having a baby. Hard work!
Oh is trying to get lo to constantly kick a ball so he can take him to football every weekend. Fine by me!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Hey everyone, haven't posted in ages. My lo is 11months this week, I cant believe its almost his birthday! I miss him so much when im at work, feel so guilty that im not with him. He is cruising along the sofa holding on and standing up. I have to change his nappy standing up as he wont lie still and can crawl so fast!
Welcome Mary glad everything has worked out for you x
mrsh I cant wait until I can go to soft play with my ds!

Happy 2nd birthday Reuben!
Hope everyone is well x0 -
Hello, thank you for the warm welcome
Me and hubby watched the baby programme too, I especially liked the bits with the sleeping babies dressed up as astronauts and zoo keepers! X0 -
Hello Mary, Welcome. I am so glad baby Lyra is alright and you are bonding well.
LO was three weeks yesterday and today we had our first little go at tummy time. We already do it a little bit when changing her and by having her on our tummies but today we got the playmat out and used my pregnancy pillow as a bit of an aid. She managed about a minute and a half before getting thoroughly fed up.
Todays mission is to get the pots washed and hopefully a extra bonus would be getting the stairs hoovered. The only problem is that baby has decided that today she only wants to fall asleep whilst cuddling and certainly doesn't want to be put down in her moses basket :P It's a good job I don't enjoy housework lol xxx0 -
Hi vicky, My edd triplet! :rotfl:
3 weeks already? She sounds very clever to be achieving that at 3 weeks, she must be a fast developer0 -
She lifts her head a little but not a lot. I was just pleased that she managed a minute and a half on her tummy without screaming the house down. We will get there though. Hoping to try again this afternoon if I can catch her in the right mood lol0

Thanks Nutella! Reuben's birthday coincides with photo day at nursery. But guess what he came home with yesterday just in time for all his birthday photos and of course the nursery photos.... yes that's right a great big black eye
Here he is this morning, with sticky uppy bed hair that wouldn't stick down either. Sigh. He's going to look like a right ragamuffin in his photos!! When telling us about the shiner, nursery informed us he got it when he fell off an octopus.....0
