Hi all, hope everyone well.. cd nursery 2 sounds fab, similar to ours apart from a veg plot.lol but as others have said go by your instincts. Ours has a book that they write in and as Nutella says its peace of mind for how much they eat and sleep etc. I love reading the book when I pick him up and bring it home to show hubby.
Poor ds has been poorly for 4weeks and his conjunctivitis turned into a horrible cough which as we found out tonight turned into infected tonsils, another dose of antibiotics, poor thing. Still no teeth here, at 9.5mths!
Am finding it v.tiring being back at work but the guilt is easing slightly. I feel im on autopilot all the time, thinking of what needs done next iykwim. On a happy note we are off to portugal soon, how on earth will I entertain ds on the plane? He just wants to crawl all the time!Mum of 2 :j0 -
LO managed to get hold of my mascara this morning, and within seconds she'd decorated her dummy with black dots, then came to show me and proudly said 'nice!'. I should have told her off, but I just couldn't!
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Sorry I have been MIA for a while I smashed my phone and haven't been in online!
CD go with your instinct, I know the nursery we picked for C was based on gut feeling more than anything else, they don't leave babies to cry and are happy to go with the routine we have at home and that was important to me!
As for me, c is pulling himself up to standing, nothing is safe and his sleep has gotten worse. He is super slingy ATM so the days tough but fingers crossed we turn a corner soon! Starting new job at the start of June so a lot going on!
Hope everyone is well0 -
Morning
Cake I have no idea how you cope with twins with so little help from OH!
I'm not looking forward to the DVD shenanigans with LO! Childproofing seems so hard just looking round the house - wires, sharp edges...
CD sounds like you kind of knew which nursery to pick. Still got to pick my nursery!
minimuffin sorry to hear LO has been so poorly. Just been to docs with
mine and got some antibiotics for a throat infection.
lao_cat sounds like your LO is going through a leap.
Nutella those shoes are very pretty. I still wouldn't want a girl tho! Don't want a stroppy teenage girl!0 -

Nor do I. I plan for mine to be wonderfully calm, balanced and sensible
She's just gone to bed clutching her new shoes. She screamed when I took them off to put her pyjamas on0 -
mind you, I'm sure my LO is gonna turn into a right mad nutter like his dad! doing stupid stuff like chucking rocks straight up in the air and knocking himself out with it!0

....and then scream at you as if you were the one that threw them....
My LO went through a phase of pulling her own hair, then staring at me as if it was somehow my fault that her head hurt0 -
