Stand by - gonna do that again then with GROSS... ugh! ...
Address can be Mummy's.. and they "might" take the form without the P45 if I explain it to them why I don't have it - but again I will visit the tax office back home where they know my Mum (advantages of small town ) and speak to someone in person first...
Otherwise I will cut the apron strings and resign.
EDIT; New Total is £1140. However there is three more wages to come through estimates of around £2700 / £1900 and £400 respectively for the end of Aug, Sept and Oct. I am guessing my return might then be only £770.....; - (“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Hi NSK. if you go to https://www.whatsthecost.co.uk on the left there is calculator to see what tax you should be paying. Just type in your gross income inclusive of september. It will show you how much you should have paid in tax this tax year. The difference between the amount shown and tax you paid is your refund amount. I hope this helps.Sainsburys Loan - £6945, Car - £5116, Barclaycard - £13499.99; Sant.Zero card - £500; Tesco card - £716.79; Argos - £116.88
This my and DH debts together. Correct as of 30/03/14.
LBM - 23/08/13. Total debts then - 30K.0 -
Ooooooh Lubava... INTERESTING! I entered how much I had earned as GROSS and did the deduction and it leaves me at £931. That would make me happy - although with three more months to go... there is always a chance it won't be this much..
Considering this was an unexpected amount, as is the 5 days of annual leave I am taking as pay ( having not realized I had that extra 5 ) I am very tempted to keep my push bike.
I have a mountain bike at home but he is for downhill biking with my brother but I love road racing - it will be hard to part with my £700 bike for less expecially as I now need to get some things sorted with him - the gears keep jumping, the wraps need replaced and the chain needs changed as well.
I'm loathed to give up something I love but need to think about this a little more - £300 is still a lot of money.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Hello Indigo ....you gotta tell me more than that! I am so impressed with you taking the plunge although I might follow suit and resign.... So what made you want to travel, where are you starting, how much have you raised and more importantly why kind of rucksack are you taking....; - )...
It would be cool to meet on the road though - another MSE'er nomad! Lol.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Peaty you made me chuckle out loud! Ha! I could stick you in my rucksack..?
Speaking of rucksacks that one I wanted from America looks like it won't be in stock until November ( this is the 44l one ) which means I might have to settle on the 55l one that is a bit to heavy for my liking.
Hmmmm need to think about this I believe.....“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Is there no other place you can get the backpack? There's no point in getting one deciding against it and getting a different one.0

Well well i dont want to bore you with the whole shabang,
I have wanted to travel for years but life always seemed to get in the way ( coughes boyfriends that turned out to not be worth it) Then my current housemate gave notice to move out and i couldnt face finding a new tenant.,... it just seemed like 'the right time' so one day i thought you know what im going.... so walked up and booked a one way flight to Bangkok.... Then that was it I was committed, i couldnt just say 'maybe next year like i had done the previous few years.
I havent planned much at all ( not as organised as you) as its been a wirlwind few weeks and because i really want to leave the book open, i dont want to have a set plan or time.
The work im in dont offer any form of sabbatical so it was never an option, also the i cannot progress and the money isnt what i would want for life so i was ready for a change anyway.
Anyway il stop rabbiting on... rough plan is Thailand/laos/cambodia/vietnham for Nov- March then Oz for a year on workers holiday visa.
Where are you planning to be for NYE?
Backpack wise so many people have recommended vango freedom 60l but i saw you are trying to go smaller?
Money wise - a sticky issue... i thought i had more in my ISA than i did so im looking at about 10k in total however im wanting to work in oz so i dont think thats too bad?!
Ps there are a few groups on facebook with people all similar age and all going around the same time ( ive made a few friends' already which I can add you to if you have facebook etc.

Peaty ... the Tortuga Travel Pack is made by backpackers for backpackers - they are two guys in the US who are distributing a proto-type and do not sell it anywhere else. They are usually sold out within 12-24 hours of being re-stocked. Their international shipping was to be ready in July - but the dates have just been extended. I have messaged them to make sure but there is no alternative in order to get one. I will be keeping my eyes open on eBay though...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
