"Joey Essex" is a prat. who is he and why has no one punched him?
However Boyzone have all grown up very nicely!
I have a headache. Loathe and detest paper of all kinds.
progress, low to zero! Kitchen looking better. Dogs are a sleep.
My timer got washed up in the drawer declutter last night oops! but have a timer on the computer I can use (which scares the dogs....I might change the sound it makes!!)

Some time later
SO the conservatory is sorted, I have emptied Mum's weird cupboard and sorted my MA stuff plus moved our "best china (get me!) in the now empty cupboard.
Mopped the floor done two loads of washing and put the stuff in the shed.
Kitchen is 70% there. Plus the guinea pigs had a little run in the garden probably shouldn't have, spring grass can make them ill. but on the other hand they have had a rubbish time recently, it is better for them being downstairs but they do get watched by the dogs, they don't do anything and give up after bit. Two of the girls come up to see the dogs so I don't think they are especially worried now. I wanted them to get used to each other.
Anyhow loads more to do XXXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -

Skyped with Mum, so nice to see her
and she is back on Wednesday
so downstairs is generally ok. I have a list for tomorrow. my room is a TIP. but it's ok as the conservatory and Kitchen are good and it won't take long to sort the rest out tomorrow. Well it will take all night but is doable.

Evening.
A couple of my friends - well actually it is about 4 of my friends are having a really !!!!!! time.
This lead to me thinking and pondering.
I am in my late thirties. It is official! am old. I REALLY feel like life is passing me by. We always think we have time and maybe some windows are closing. houses, kids, boyfriends. new careers. Similar to what I have said before I know but recent events made me think, !!!!!! things can happen at any moment. I should be living now not waiting.
With this in mind I made a wish list this is part of it.
I need to fix my teeth (still after about 5 yrs)
I need to fix my skin cancer - beign but is getting worse. coming up three years now, always avoided it as the scar will be worse than the lump but know it needs doing.
I want to fix my eyesight. I wear glasses and am a bit fed up with feeling like a frumpy old bag.I know I shouldn't feel like this but honestly the combination of the teeth(gaps, not picket fence country but not far off!) glasses and a weird lump on my nose- seriously I challenge anyone to feel sexy and attractive! Plus I am over weight and unfit. painting such a fab picture aren't I!
When I was in my old job I used wonder about the life I could have if I were free and now I am. I wasted so much time. SO MUCH Freaking time!!!
I have 5 months left of work. after that I won't be able to call myself full time employed.
My teeth would cost about 3000 and I think my eyesight would be the same. The op would get done on the NHS.
I could borrow 6000.
What do you think?
Part of me thinks I shouldn't do it, I should save up but by that time I may loose more teeth!! and my eyes may not be suitable (actually I guess they might not be suitable now) in the few years it would take.
The op will have to happen soon. Will go to the doctors in the Easter break. follow it up.
I must confess my confidence is at an all time low re appearance. I suppose I could try to save for some of it? It's feels shallow but I would love to look and feel better. I really would.
so yeah, what do you think people in my computer?

The question I think you have to ask yourself Buffy is whether it would really make you feel better or do you just think it will?
Could you do a wee bit of exercise & some healthy eating as that wont cost too much, to start with?

Def yes to the op. The sooner it happens, the sooner you'll get used to the change in appearance. Re the others, I'd say start saving for one at a time while working on the weightloss and general fitness. I invested £1400 in my teeth getting some gaps sorted pre Christmas. The main work dislodged and I haven't had the nerve to go back to the dentist for fear they can't replace it or it will cost a fortune. If I'd bored the money to pay for it, I'd be so so depressed. I'm not saying the same would happen to you but just in case... I must admit I was happier post dental work and it does boost confidence. From a dim and distant memory, I also feel that way about weight loss and it doesn't cost. Why not link saving pounds to losing pounds? Maybe £10 for every one lost?Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
