Aww no, I hope you are feeling a little better.
We are having to survive on £50 a week til payday. 5 cats 2 dogs me hubby and 2 kids.
We are couponing - nectar pointing, ebaying and now into our last week the stocks are right down and its beginning to put us under strain.
We can only do what we can do. Tonight I am going to have a blast doing a little more decluttering. After all, it has got to be cheaper than online shopping.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Hi Buffy - hope you're ok. At least it's Friday, put your feet up with a glass of something alcoholic!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Hello SA
hope the tv is working
I went over to a friend who I love very much but she was more drunk then me and it was all a bit trying
I knew it would be, she is having a tough time and tends to distract herself with other people's problems - many of which I didn't know I had!
I was mainly sober so hey ho. It is ok. The last two weeks have been very difficult at work - still absolutely certain I made the right decision.
This weekend is all about decluttering and preparing for the return of Mum!
so I should be in bed
Good night lovely friends XXXX

Hiya Buffster xxx
Can really relate to the above!! Out the blue, a few months ago, a more-drunk-than-me friend turned to me and said 'you know what your problem is, skinty?' and proceeded to tell me!! Like you, I was enlightened...!
Hope your day goes well re: de-cluttering, keep us posted on how you're doing. Are you doing one area or room at the mo, or seeing what takes your fancy?2014 Frugal Living Challenge

*looks sheepish*
ok. so I don't really know what happened today!
I got up had a lovely cup of tea with the dogs. Then one of the dogs was sick. twice and so I worried about that for a bit plus made a stain on the carpet......
anyhow all good, got dressed went out about 11 to the bank! paid in my change, 70 pounds, should have been ninety but don't have enough of the right dominations for the bank. Closed my unnecessary savings accounts. The people in hal*fax were v nice as was the lady in Barclays.
I now have
current account (60)
account for VSP (50ish quid)
summer savings 200
pets 180
Car 100
Christmas 90 (it's my 365 account)
Plus a second current account and savings account. with not much money in!
SO I came home via the bakers cos I needed lunch, ahem. post lunch I watched Rope, one of my favourite films am a big Hitchcock fan and just could not switch it off! Rear Window is on tomorrow!
The film finished at three so I *popped* to the other high street and bought an ottoman and a hoover(used the CC. Came home at 4.30 walked dogs for an hour came home, napped (oops) woke up and have put dinner on. Really hope it is ok since it went out of date yesterday. probably will be.
It's odd cos I have a lovely day on one level but there was nagging feeling I had forgotten something.................like the Decluttering!!
