  • Hello

Yes, you know SA I never thought about it but he is a real live Easter Bunny! how silly :) and I am so against people buying pets at holiday times (which is also silly as it is often the only time people have to spend sorting a pet out!)

I am trying to figure out what church to go to tomorrow. I made the decision about a month ago that I would spend the Easter weekend alone. I am feeling fairly sad about this. But I need to do the house and sort out work and this is the ideal time. However so I am not totally alone (!) I will go to one of the local churches.

Today I am emptying my room. Think it is going to be difficult and emotional - I know that sounds poncy but for one thing I been waiting so long for it and there is a whole lot of stuff in there I haven't touched in years.

Without Mum the dogs are driving me quite nuts. I think she must give them bits of food all day since one of them constantly begs when I eat - now it is true that we both give them bits but it is only particular meals and neither really beg from me. Also whining at me for no apparent reason - I must be missing something somewhere. I tried letting them out, feeding them fussing them. nope soon as I stopped he went back to sitting in front of me and whining...

any how. best get on with something.

Could the dog not just simply be missing your Mum? Hope the clear out goes well and you feel better for it. I know I always do Xx

  • Morning,

PLMBL XX Dogs are definitely missing mum - no scraps, boring dog food, scary long walks!! being chucked out in the garden when they whine. Very different to Mum's approach - which works for her totally but I m not intending to be dictated to every minute of the day and to sit down for few hours cos they want you to although I have napped which they love!

Well in my own way I quite enjoyed the weekend with the pets. I went out for drink on Thursday and Church on Sunday but aside from that I had no human company at all!

FB was a bit depressing but a friend who I haven't spoken to in months did respond to a message I sent. bit lukewarm but haven't spoken in about 6 months so actually still very welcome.

any how today the sun is shining.........so it is the turn of the garden an maybe the rabbit in the run.........

    maybe.

    Hi Buffy,

Just checking in to say Hi .

Hope you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. Also hope that the dogs have calmed down now and stopped whining. that would drive me nuts.

Guess you are back to work today. Hope all goes well.

Work is alright. Probably don't have a job next year! really need to do something about that!

The dogs...........are ok. Still whiney and follow me around which is difficult with tending to the guinea pigs and rabbit! the hamster hasn't had a look in! I think they are just used to being with mum and I am always out or upstairs/in the garden so they might check in but aren't glued to my side. I suppose I should think it is cute but if I nearly fall over them once more I will lose it!

Sister and bf have cut the grass. They have "gardened" twice this week. I should be grateful. And I feel bad saying it but I AM NOT!

it is a bit tongue in cheek as well........I am a mixture of whatever..... and you'd better not touch my flower beds! and I know they need weeding!

Moneywise things are tight. Ten days till pay day.

and I am back in the uncomfortable bra!!!!!!!

Hi there Buffster. The dogs must see your mum as "top dog" and as she is absent you are the substitute top dog. Can sympathise with the falling over animals thing as my 20 year old cat is forever trying to trip me up. He appears from nowhere at the top of the stairs and gets under my feet. I'm convinced he's trying to kill me.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
