  • evening or rather good night from me :)

you are all right re killing myself about tidying, even my Mum said, no plans till Monday for half term, you need to REST!

so yes I shall, Saturday and Sunday. Chill the !!!! out.

    and then see..........

thank you so much for being here. Been an odd week really, genuinely thinking I would either be dead or hospital during the migraine(the pain was dreadfully scary for about 30 minutes) and then back to work with all the stressed out people. It is a funny old world really.

  • Confession time!

I have developed a crush on my boss. :)

Don't panic, it is not risk my job ruin a marriage situation. Just a passing fancy that has crossed my mine on a few occasions.

I wouldn't mind, his mother would even call him classically good looking. He does have lovely blue eyes!............no, I will shut up now honest!

Anyhow the main reason for this confession is the recognition of a pattern.

    1. I do develop crushes on unobtainable men - married, powerful, etc.

    2. I have them as my love interest if you will :) sounds so silly. is so silly.

    3. This solves the "problem" of having to find a boyfriend
and convinces me I am right in not looking for anyone.

I never act on these crushes or even come close to anything suss, but it is interesting to note and I know I have done it more since my break up 18 months ago.

    weird huh.

I still think I am right in not looking, I logged in on a dating website and got a few inappropriate and badly written messages.......is it wrong that the spelling mistakes bothered me more?

Not wrong at all!! I think that if they irritate you now by spelling a few words wrong, when you haven't had years of being irritated by them leaving the toilet seat up, or chewing noisily, then you definitely aren't meant to be together :)

Personally I think that crushes on TOTAL strangers are better & more productive. Firstly, you know that if you (not you as in YOU but you as in any female) lose the extra weight they are attainable, secondly, they are going to be the one that will climb K2 to save you, thirdly you know the sex will be better with them than it has ever been, they will be loyal, faithful. I nearly added blah, blah , blah here.

Put another way it is the dream that keeps us all going and why only some of us are single parents not all of us.
  • *goes out to oogle at total strangers*

you are correct Patanne. this is a better plan :)

anyhow. Today is the first day of the holidays. I have no plans and had eight hours sleep. Am debating what to do.... I might do my room. well start my room.

    How nice is this?

  • I haven't left the house all day. Unless you count the shed.

It has been quite nice, spent the day checking on pets, leaky tank filter sorted I think. Some tanks cleaned Hamster still escaped and behind wardrobe..........new cage dug out of loft.
Guinea pig MUCH better but I think the older one needs to go back to the vets :( I love her, she is a worry. dogs have been played with. Been fairly chilled.

did need to buy a fish thing which was costly...so not a NSD.

had left over Chinese for lunch and pizza for dinner.

ermmmmmmmm. what else ooooo figured out a way to keep a small fish tank in my room.

I must decorate my room. going to paint it white. might start tomorrow.

There must be some hidden meaning in you falling for unobtainable men. A psychological thing. Personally bad grammar/spelling really bugs me too. I hate apostrophes in the wrong place particularly. Hope your piggy is better soon. A friend of mine has piggies and they are so cute. Take care Buffster x
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I think you might have something there SA. I do find human behaviour quite fascinating.

Mine in particular makes zero sense.

So I had another lazy day. I am frankly bored out of my skull!

I got up, was going to work the dogs but Mum did it. This lead to me on a train of thought that did me some good. We had agreed that I would walk the dogs on Sundays but she forgot. I know she didn't mean it but she really cannot take any change in routine :( get up, get dressed etc, walk dogs come home have breakfast. that is it. and I fit in around her, especially as she getting older and more easily confused.

And that is ok. and in fact reasonable but this routine can never or rarely be challenged to have anything happen, like stuff being fixed, takes a couple of months of planning and checking and worrying. Me doing ANYTHING house wise. I have needed to decorate my room for years now. I am going to do it this week. I need the sanctuary. She will get stressed though and slow me down. tell me it can't be done.

I feel awful writing that. She is lovely but has always hated change. Always.

Even just now, I put back some dirty stuff in the dishwasher - it hadn't come out totally clean but she has questioned why. Some days it is so hard to be treated like a child! Mostly when at work or out/busy it doesn't happen as much. However a solid 48 hrs together and she slips into old habits.

So tomorrow I empty the room. Tuesday I paint it. Go to work leaving the window open to air so me and the zoo can move back to sleep. Wednesday I move it all back whilst chucking away as much as I can. And rebuilding the gp cage. I really wish I wasn't working this week. Money would be good tho. I have paid CC off but only have 100 in big savings...and 200 in the bank. Still February is only a short month and I have sent the one birthday present I needed to send.

I fancy all the Musketeers. *mind wanders*

I also need to go to Ikea. Well that isn't strictly true. I want to go to Ikea. I shall aim to go Friday morning.

I will have Thursday to finish off but am working then too. so we shall see.

Ate a cream cake. Feel sick. just had to share.....cos I am nice like that! ;)

  • Nothing has changed. AT ALL.

One of the guinea pigs was ill. Well, is ill so have been faffing about with her.

I haven't been well or sleeping. Actually I think the lack of sleeping came first. So the days have gone by without me doing sod all.

I have been having some very dark thought about the future and am very stressed about work. Everything is getting at me.

and I have a tummy ache.

    Ugh.
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Sorry to hear you feel that way Buffles. I've been feeling something similar and I know it's not nice. Do you think tummy troubles are linked to your dark thoughts? Xx
