We’ll be just over a fortnight apart then happielassie. Are you going to have a gender scan early or wait for the 20 week one? I think I’m going to go 3 weeks today:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Oh that’s fab! I think we’ll just wait for the 20 week scan
I’ve been told I’m going to need extra growth scans as well so plenty of viewing of baby to be had0 -
Hi everyone
I got my first BFP last night and confirmed with clear blue weeks predictor at lunch says im 3+
Just booked online to be referred to the midwife and they are going to contact me within the next 3 working days.
I didnt even realise I was expecting we have been trying since June and I thought I was just late because I had my wisdom teeth removed last week and work has been quite stressful so it was a bit of a shock if that makes sense
I really dont know what I need to be doing now though lol so any tips or pointers would be greatly apprciatedFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
Congrats faith.
When I got my bfp I called the doctors who said I just see the midwife at 8 weeks for a booking in appointment.
Just make sure you’re taking your vits and folic acid.0 -

Haven’t popped in here in a while but not much has been happening (7+3 I think now). I called my GP 2 weeks ago and they said it’s all done online now and I had to self refer to the midwifery team which I did on 18th October but haven’t heard anything back yet. No idea if there’s something else I’m meant to be doing but getting slightly anxious that I’ll never be seen!0

I didn’t get seen until around 9 weeks, doc said to ring after week 6 I think it was but it can be up to 10 so I wouldn’t worry. It’s quite thorough the appointment is. There’s a link further up I put on but google what is needed at first midwife app. I got booked for 12 week scan then too. She booked me in for the 16 week appointment and at the 12 week scan they booked me in for the 20 week scan.
I got told to take folic acid and vitamin d tablets as apparently we don’t get enough sun so the tablets help. That was pretty much it for what I needed to do. Then just attend the appointments. Seeing the specialist due to my thyroid/ weight day before my birthday too so will be 18 weeks then.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:
