Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

How exciting! I’m a week or so behind you. I’ll be 9 weeks on Tuesday.
We have our first midwife appointment on Wednesday, looking forward to that.

Well today is the day i get to meet a midwife and have my booking in appointment! We are both so excited! I cannot wait to talk about baby ha ha.
Due to complications that my Mother has faced through pregnancies and my weight, i think we are likely to be under a consultant but time will tell.
I'm excited to have a date for my 12 week scan!!

Well our appointment went lovely and the midwife we met was amazing! so welcoming and friendly.
As thought, my veins didn't co-operate so we had to use the back of my hand for bloods.
We are going to have an appointment with the consultant, purely down to BMI but the midwife was not overly concerned, it's just something they have to do.
Our dating scan will be the 24th October So excited about this.

Glad everything went well happylassie.

I not been good, absolutely exhausted and light headed. Went to work and came home an hour later today, mom checked my bp and said to chill. I had slept 10 hours last night and have slept a further 4 today. Don't think I will go in tomorrow and let myself rest. Its got to pass soon.

I don't blame you Sam. Its exhausting work growing tiny humans.

We have booked another scan tomorrow night just to see little one has grown and the heart is still beating! then we will wait for the 12 week scan

I’ll have to see the consultant due to my bmi (it’s like .8 over which is really annoying as I’d lost 2 stone of it then put it back on) and my thyroid. Plus might have to take aspirin after 12 weeks because of bmi

I am worried about my weight, I have put on just over a stone since going through IVF. I lost nearly 6 stone to be able to do IVF. My BMI was 34 when I got booked in with my midwife but has gone up since then as I have put more on. I have gone back to slimming world, not that I am following it strictly but to make myself more accountable. It's hard ad I am so tired all the time, gone are the double spin classes,I don't even go for a walk. I hope to go back to the gym and start swimming and yoga in the next couple of weeks when this tiredness finally leaves me.

Hello ladies, I recognise a couple of names here!

I’d like to tentatively join please! Got my BFPs this morning - think I’m about 4 weeks 1 day if I’ve worked it out correctly! Had a MC last year at 6 weeks but didn’t realise I was pg so I’m very cautious! This time feels different so hopefully that’s a good sign!

I’m still a bit in shock - no idea what I do next but I’ll sure I’ll figure it all out. Nice to meet you all!
