Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

please help! It's killing me. Awake between one and 4 am every morning. Then alarm goes off for work. I work on a hospital too so I am on my feet most of the day. Don't know how much more I can take. :eek:

How long will it last? Had it about 2 weeks now and was 7 weeks two days ago. Nausea has started too, really bad in the afternoon. Sorry for moaning haha. This is my first too.

Good news for you happy lassie. We have to wait another month for our scan. :mad:

I keep waking through the night. Try and space out annual leave is prob my best advice I think. Or try and have a nap when you get home. I’m in bed by 11 as I can’t keep awake any longer. I feel about 90

Loubie-lou. A few suggestions on the sleep front. Make sure you turn off phone and all electrical gadgets an hour before going to sleep, read a book to prepare you for sleep..
When I wake up and can't go back to sleep I find a drink and iF that does not work a snack, sounds strange but rice crackers for me work well and are not too high in calories. Hope you sort it soon.

Oh loubie lou that sounds dreadful, thankfully i'm not having any trouble with my sleep so I don't really know what to suggest. Hopefully this changes on it's own for you soon!

I have terrible nausea all day now, I've completely gone off food / meals. i'm struggling a lot with this at the moment.

8 weeks today! according to my app, baby is now the size of a raspberry!
Appointment isn't for another week, wish it was this week! Can't wait to get booked in for a scan so we have a date to countdown too!

I'm 9w3d today and have scan and consultant booked for the 11th. I have to go through a consultant because I am 40. I am fine apart from getting light headed if I run round like a headless chicken which can be most days so trying to learn to slow down a little. Work do not know and won't be told till I get the all clear from the nipt test ( test for abnormalities based on the foetuses DNA) which takes 7-10 days to come through.
My colleague goes on maternity leave on Friday so I am picking up some of her classes and non specialists are picking up my lower years classes. Think they may be in for a little shock when I let them know. It's quite hard keeping it quiet but I want the all clear first.

i'm pleased you aren't feeling to rotten sam!

I was off work yesterday and I have been put on a course of anti-sickness medication and dehydration powders. I slept the clock round all day and all night. Back at work again this morning but would love to be in bed.

I have my first midwife appt on wednesday and we will get booked in for our scan then.

I paid for a scan in the end and I’m glad I did. Heartbeat was within range, could have bought a heartbeat teddy but might do next time if I go for gender scan as can get it done a month before hospital one). So it’s deffo due end of April. If it’s 5 days late it will be born on my late nans birthday which is scary

10 weeks. Hospital scan will be a fortnight on Monday. They said it will have grown a lot over the fortnight so will be interesting seeing it again
