I got told to contact doctors for midwife app around 8 weeks (I got in just after 8 weeks). Some go and see docs but with what I’ve heard they say to do the same.

BabyCentre apps quite good. Pops up with what’s what every day, gives you tips for midwife questions etc so is worth having.

Thanks dawyldthing - I’ll definitely get the app. I guess that’s the next stage for me then calling the GP! Still can’t quite believe it yet!

with my doctors i had to wait until i was 6 weeks and then ring to make a booking in appointment with the midwife for around 8 weeks. i didn't get in until i was 9 weeks though.
by what i've seen, i think it depends what county you are in for what the procedure is.
I know some ladies have had to see the gp before making the booking in appointment.
I'd just give them a ring and see what they say

They’ll do a telephone app if you ask as it’s what I did as I asked about my thyroid and that’s when she said about how it works at the surgery, but like happylassie said I think it depends

I have my first consultant appointment letter through, when i will roughly be 16 weeks.

Yeah I was 16 weeks for my first consultant appointment then 24 weeks for my second.

I’ve been missing in action as I’ve been in hospital with hyperemersis. I’m back home resting after being flushed through with fluids and anti sickness injections.

Oh dear happylassie, hope you are okay.

I have had my 12 week scan today (at 11w5d) and I am measuring 13 weeks. It's quite amazing what you can see and mine was rather active. I also had my first appointment with my consultant, nipt test. So getting there. I have been booked in for 20week scan already.
It seems to be going quickly.
