I've been feeling relatively good this week, yesterday was a bit of struggle but I did a heap of driving and felt quite tired from that, thankfully hubby was on hand to make dinner last night and I managed to get an ok nights sleep, had some pains down my right side, I think its ligaments but did have me worried for a bit.

Just text my boss to tell her I'm going to work from home today, no reply yet, but I'm passed the stage of caring really about work now, which is bad as theres half a year left to go still, it just doesn't seem important anymore, anyone else feel like that? :eek:

It's hubby birthday tomorrow, I'd booked us a spa and hotel stay at a beautiful place in the New Forest, but of course I now can't use much of the spa at all (all hydrotherapy and hot pools) and I had to cancel my treatment and opt for a pedicure instead. I know I shouldn't be moaning, it's not all about me, it's my hubbys b'day pressie, so I'm hoping I still fit into my swimming costume and can lounge about by the pool instead.

Sadly I have lost the baby. It had not developed properly. I am heading back to hospital now to see whether it can be treated medically or it has to be surgically - there is a risk of molar pregnancy, which is terrifying.

However, I have had a little bleeding since Tuesday (I posted about that) and this morning the tiny bit I had looked fresh so it looks like nature might take it's course, which is the better option out of a horrifying and upsetting time. Feel really numb and obviously grieving.

Good luck to you all with your pregnancies, I hope this doesn't bring you all down too much.

Rachy I am so sorry. I was refreshing like mad last night waiting to hear how your scan had gone and I feared the worst when you didn't post.

Oh Rachy, I really don't know what to say. I actually cried when I read your post. Our dates were so close I felt like we graduated together.

Devastated for you. I really hope nature does take it's course and you don't have to go through any more trauma. Just want to give you a massive hug.

Take time to grieve and then think of the positives...you know you can get pg and you can try again when you're ready.

Rachy I am so very sorry to hear that, tears are streaming down my face as I have been where you are and it is truly devastating.

I am sending you so much love right now, take care of each other and let yourself take all the time you need to grieve. I can't offer any words of wisdom that will mean much to you other than to say you will get through this and there will be better days to come Xxx

Thanks for all your kind words, it means a lot.

I was seen pretty quickly this morning which was good. I won't go into details as it's not the best thread to do so but I have to go back in a week to be re-scanned. Plenty of TLC and chocolate for the next week.

Might go on the TCC thread if I need to chat as really don't want to bring the mood down here and I want you all to talk freely about your experiences (hopefully happy ones). I certainly won't disappear and will no doubt catch up with you all at some point.
