So glad to hear your scan went well Manc! It must have been amazing to see something that resembles a baby!

Hope your scan goes well Rachy, you must be so excited.

10 days until our scan, I cannot wait! The baby was still a dot at our private scan.

I bought myself a doppler but haven't been able to hear anything yet, guess it's too early. Looking forward to been able to hear the heartbeat at home though.

Sickness is still horrendous. I didn't manage to even get to my bed on Saturday night, was sick all night. Managed to cook an actual meal for hubby today for the first time in weeks but won't be eating it myself. I'm living on rice, toast and mash potato. Cannot wait to get back to normal.

Wow we have a lot of scans coming up in the next 2 weeks, good luck all! Can't wait to hear all about them.

Feeling rubbish again today, gahhh I can't wait for this miraculous energy burst I've been promised after 12 weeks... just want to curl up in bed.

Manc...I keep saying that to hubby. I have in my head that as soon as I hit 12 weeks I'm going to miraculously have loads of energy and stop feeling sick. I'm guessing the reality won't be like that! haha!

My mum phoned me last night to tell me she'd been looking at prams! I know she's excited but I wish she'd wait til after the scan!

I would certainly let the bride and groom know about your dietary requirements Pink Petal. I didn't think about that at all with the wedding I just attended and they had cold meat buffet as the main course with ham, pepperoni and salami which we are not supposed to have. The veggie option was goats cheese so that wouldn't have helped me either. I just ate what I could (I ate the ham) and went to town on dessert which was a bake off and as much cake as I wanted

It looks like I have gained a few pounds now. I think it's cake related - I just can't get enough of it. Need to try and calm self down before I end up the size of a house. I am classed as overweight in the medical world but I have curves in the right places and the thought of losing them forever scares me :eek:

Oh and I noticed I have gone up a full cup size. OH is very happy with that

Still doesn't feel real for me so I am really excited for tomorrow although I am extremely nervous too. Couldn't sleep last night so probably worse tonight

I'm starting to worry about a big BBQ we're going to at the weekend. I'm still completely off meat but it's an all afternoon til late thing, so I can't just not eat anything. They don't want anyone to take anything so I can't even offer to take some pasta or something like that. OH has said I could take a packed lunch... hardly the most practical or discreet solution.

Cannot wait until the magic 12 week point when I no longer have to worry about keeping the whole thing quiet!

What I would do Tinks is say that you are unwell (stomach pains, bug, toothache - anything really) and therefore you have taken some food that you will be able to manage so whilst you don't want to offend the hosts, you just needed to ensure you could eat something.

I highly doubt anyone would suspect a pregnancy with the above. It also gives you a reason not to drink alcohol.

I'm with you on the secret though - it's bloody hard!

Also in agreement here about getting fed up of keeping the secret!! Sure my colleagues think I'm being mega lazy and unsociable at the minute, truth is I am feeling so rubbish that just getting through each day is a chore!!

Can't wait until everyone knows now.

Sorry in advance for TMI..

I've just experienced discharge like CM but tinged with pink. Just a little in underwear but there was quite a lot when I wiped. More creamy but definitely a tinge of pink.

OH is away and in a panic, I have googled. It has reassured me that it's quite normal. Sounds like cervical erosion which can happen after a bowel movement, which I had earlier and this was my first toilet trip since that. Doesn't sound like MC but obviously that is never far from my mind.

I feel sick and shaky now. I just wish it was tomorrow. I definitely won't sleep tonight

I've heard of that happening quite a lot Rachy so I'd try not to worry (easy for me to say!)...good luck today, looking forward to hearing how it goes!!!
