I feel so left out with all these symptoms. I don't think my nausea is any different from that I had during TTC. I certainly haven't gone off any food and my sudden craving for desserts is more likely to be greed than anything pregnancy related :rotfl:
Anyone put any weight on? I had put on 1lb but probs just fat, weigh in day is Friday. I have another two weeks until I have to fit into a dress and then the weight can come no problem.
Still getting backache but it is relieved by paracetamol so that's good.
Going on holiday on Saturday so looking forward to relaxing0 -
Glad all is well Rachel, hope to see you in the new thread soon!0

Have a lovely holiday Rachy!
We've been to tell my parents about the baby tonight - had tears and everything, it was lovely!0 -
I've felt so awful for the last 7 weeks that I've actually lost 5lbs. I can afford to lose a lot more than that but it does show how little I can face food in the evening. Daytime I eat regularly in order to feel a little better but I really don't feel like it and carbs feature heavily, which is normal. I'm fancying bagels with cream cheese, peanut butter on toast, toasted cheese and ham sandwiches, crisps, pizza, etc, but I do try to eat some fruit and yoghurt. I've gone off chunks of meat and can barely drink anything other than water.
The exhaustion is hard, I'm ready for sleep once I arrive at work, plus I'm so worn out after the commute home that my abdomen hurts to touch and is crampy.
I really hope Monday's scan goes well as I can't bear the thought of suffering through all this and then getting bad news too.
Tinks that sounds like a lovely evening.
Rachylou have a great holiday.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Hello everyone,
Well, I can't quite believe I'm here! 4 weeks today, early pregnancy scanned booked for 7 weeks and booking in appointment booked!
Bit of background about me, we were NTNP since we got married in 2013, come 2015 still nothing happening I went for some tests, hubby fine, me suspected PCOS, long cycles and intermittently ovulating. Throw in a grumbly gall bladder which was removed Jan '16, then I started Chlomid. Raised to a higher dose with Metformin this cycle, I wasn't able to be scanned to see if it had been effective, so had to rely on POAS, and somehow, still don't quite believe it, I've got a BFP! (Well about 10 because I'm slightly obsessive!)
So here I am!
Hope you're all doing ok and looking forward to the weekend.0 -
Rachy don't worry about symptoms, every preg is different and some get everything and others nothing at all - its a lottery! Have a fab holiday and relax.
I've definitely gained a couple of pounds from living on bread but could also just be bloat - I have a dress to fit into next week but luckily it has a ruched/waterfall section over the belly which should get me through.
Welcome shazzer and good luck Kynthia for next week! xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Welcome shazzer! Congrats!
Have a fab holiday Rachy! We're off on hols tomorrow too. Can't wait to get away and relax...but first, I have my booking in appointment this afternoon. Quite nervous but not sure why!0 -
I dread to think how much weight I've put on, living on carbs is not going to end well.
Hope the booking in appt goes okay Pink, and that you have a lovely holiday too.
We're going away for the wedding on Monday. All packed and cleaned up, nerves are starting to kick in now!0 -

For all you ladies who are struggling with dowdy maternity wear, my wife stumbled across this place:
http://www.cosstores.com/gb/Women/Tops
(they also have some stores in london). Pretty reasonable prices and she has just ordered the things she likes in larger sizes as they aren't specifically designed as maternity clothes but this has worked out well, with a plan to get them adjusted when (if haha) she loses the baby weight after.....anyway she seems to think they are pretty stylish compared to most stuff she has seen and if you order online they have free return's if your not happy....0
