Still barely any symptoms here which is making me anxious. Had my booking in appointment through today, it's on 14th Jan.
I feel the same jtr, the week before Xmas I was very nauseous but that has all but gone now. I am very tired and emotional, been having headaches and some hip pain at night but I really don't feel pregnant at all and keep worrying. Scan is on 19th, we decided against a private early scan (didn't want to pay if bad news). Not sure how I will stay sane for next 20days.
Very annoyed today. I booked a massage for today, when booking I told the receptionist I was pregnant and was that ok. She checked and said yes, just to mention it on the day. I turn up today and the masseuse refused to give me a massage without a note from midwife! They apologised and said I can rebook anytime. I left feeling very deflated. And to top it off I text my MW and she can't write me a note for it! So not sure what to do now.
Happy new year to you all, thanks for being there, hope you all have a happy and healthy 2016 x* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Hello my lovelies, happy new year.
Hope you're all keeping well and enjoyed the Christmas break?
I'm 12 weeks today - have never actually made it this far on any of the previous pregnancies so it's a bit of a milestone for us.
Hadn't been sick for 5 days despite feeling nauseous on and off but promptly threw up again this morning - I mustn't complain!
Bought a Doppler just before Christmas and heard the heartbeat for the first time on Boxing Day, will give it another try tonight but pretty sure I've mastered how to use it and where to find our little tinker.
Have got our 12 week scan on Thursday - nervous and excited at the same time.
Big love to you all for a very happy new year ahead xxxMarried Sept '09, Me - 38, OH - 40, TTC since Nov '12

Gelly - Can I ask how much was the doppler and where did you get it from? I've had a look around but most say you need to be 20+ weeks to hear it... Good luck for Thurs x
I went to Cardiff today sale shopping with 2 of my best friends. It was soooooo hard to stay quiet and not say anything! A few times I just wanted to blurt it out. It was also hard to explain why I wasn't having coffee when we stopped twice for it or why I had no interest in looking at clothes in the sales! :rotfl:. It was exhausting though, out and about for 8.5hrs with loads of walking.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Hi flutterby, of course. It's an Angel sounds Doppler kit from Amazon - £21, comes with headphones and a little bottle of gel that only lasts 2-3 goes so I bought some more and have got loads now.
Heard the heartbeat again this evening. It's so quick like a steam train.

I'd be really annoyed about the massage too flutter especially as you checked first! Sounds like you did well not to let on, my closest three friends all know so I've no need to lie, I'm real bad at it!
You must be so pleased gelly, I hope your scan is amazing! I know a few people who have dopplers and have found hb quite early but I've got a retroverted uterus which I heard can make it harder so I might wait.
Scan is on Monday, I'm so scared
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Thanks Gelly, I'll look into that.
Jtr - it was so tough! We decided not to tell anyone just in case (had mc in May so am wary). Both our works know though, mine cos it's dangerous environment, a prison, and his cos he has told his mentor. So it's weird that my colleagues all know but friends/family don't! But it was unavoidable and least I have some people to talk to lol.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

I have a hospital grade Doppler.. I picked most of mine up from about 9 weeks.. I cant find it every day, sometimes it slinks behind one of my blood vessels or bowel sounds are loud.. pregnancy symptom number 5,000 excess wind!
Mine was about £120 years ago, the equivalent is about £40 now.
And after a week at the outlaws they still don't know.. far too self-obsessed to see what is right in front of their faces clearly! .. OH countered the question from his friends mother but he was not sure if she had noticed or was just asking for nosiness.
My Hb is as usual.. 9.7 .. I've had the obligatory 'go get iron tablets' letter, neatly filed in the bin.. I had no symptoms when it was 5.1, this is quite high for me! Still waiting on the one saying I have UTI and to go get AB's..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Id love to invest in a Doppler but since I'm too high strung if I couldn't hear anything I'd just freak myself out!
Poor OH is having to put up with the worst mood swings known to man here! Some days I do wonder how he puts up with me!
Gelly, very happy to hear everything is going well for you!
Docs office called this morning and my consultant has to change the time of my appointment till 12pm - grand with me as I get to have a lie in! She apologied profusely - I'm not bothered as I know she's a good OB and was told it was for a c section so I'll be happy to wait!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hello ladies!!
I have had a fabulous fortnight off work (which is weirdly the only place I can log on to MSE?) so Im just coming back to say goodbye really! Im 14+3 today so I'll have to move over onto the next thread, eeeee!
AS part of my Christmas present, my partner booked a 16 week gender scan at the local Baby Bond clinic - so on the 17th we find out pink or blue. I can't wait.
The nausea seems to have finally subsided, but in it's place I have developed the deepest, ugliest stretch marks on my legs. It's not even my legs that are getting bigger? Infact they're the only part of me that ISNT getting bigger?? Haha. Not to worry.
Hope everyone is ok, Im so pleased for you Gelly xxProud Mummy to Ruby
