  • Gelly, just popping over from the other thread and just read your comment re star wars. I did exactly the same thing last night!!
  • Haha Gelly, that sounds like something I'd do! OH keeps muttering on about the fact that I'm falling asleep on sofa mid programme.

The sickness bug has gone, only to be replaced with constant nausea. C'est la vie. Struggling to drink enough at moment. Had awful lower back pain on left side last night which I worried was my kidneys due to dehydration. May buy some rehydration sachets today.

I've phoned in sick for the week, work know I'm pregnant so it's not like I'm skiving. Plus getting through 7 locked doors to go to the one loo on my wing without spewing or weeing on anyone wasn't looking likely :rotfl: the joys of working in a prison eh? I'm on leave next week so means I'm off til Jan 4th now. Gonna try rest up as much as I can, and think of ways to hid it from my MIL who is coming Xmas day.

  • 9 weeks today and not much nausea this week however my boobs are bloody massive! Bit more hormonal this week as well but I think that's normal for this stage!

Looking forward to my appointment on the 7th Jan.. Will be getting NT scan and combined blood tests. I'll be praying hard between now and then that everything is okay.

Need to remind myself to get up in the middle of night for loo. I'm leaving it too long and when I get up in the morning, it can give me cramps!

Heading out for food tonight, I think I would rather be in bed by 8 though!

Gelly.. glad to hear all is going well still :)

Flutter.. I don't blame you taking time off..

Booking appointment as big a waste of time again.. They refused to do the physio referral until 16 week appointment.. I was using crutches by 14 weeks with the last one and the appointment take around 3 years to come through.. yes, years! .. and I already cannot get in the bath.. NOT impressed.

They got totally shirty because I don't want anyone down as 'next of kin' and because I refused to waste time giving irrelevant details about the previous children.. and then because I refused to give ethnicity data.. how is whether I own my home or rent relevant??.. and when I said they can send a referral to a consultant but I'm not going hahaha.. funny how they can do that waste of time appointment and not an important physio one I actually need isn't it.. and I was right.. no NT scan for this one.. suppose I have grounds to sue if there is something wrong with it because its not offered in the right time period despite them having 9 weeks to fit it in!!

  • Sounds like an interesting appointment Pigpen! stand your ground.

My nausea has been so bad today, worse it's been but as long as there is still a baby there I'll take anything it throws at me! Still weighing up a private scan or not, I can have one Jan 2nd if I want, which is 17 days before my NHS one. Not spoken to OH about it yet.

Randomly had a massive urge for a McDonalds today, I never eat there! I'm veggie so the menu is limited but as I was driving past one on my way home I pulled in and bought a veggie meal and chips! Totally hit the spot :) I'm ravenous now, not eaten anything all day except half a piece of dry toast. x

Flutter... unless you are veggie for allergy reasons.. if you can keep it down.. eat it!! You can always do the veggie thing again after but for now.. eat what you can when you can!!

I pretty much always stand my ground.. stubborn as a mule me and schools and hospitals totally bring out the worst in me!

The scan appointment they booked has to be changed.. I knew I couldn't do it, I don't even know why I said 'yeah whatever' .. I cannot be at a 3 hour appointment at 10:30 and the scan at 11am.. its not happening.. !!!!!!... Guess what I'm spending tomorrow doing!! .. I'm doing rather well to not be blubbering everywhere today.. I have no reason I just feel an urge haha.

I've had a satsuma and 3 chocs from a box of roses today.. and a cup-a-soup .. I'm ravenous too but way too busy to fit in eating!

  • I'm unsubscribing for obvious reasons. I shall hopefully be back soon but it's just too raw and traumatic at the moment.

Wishing you all happy healthy pregnancies.

Huge hugs and much love Athena.. take care of yourself and take you time to heal xxxxx :(

Scan appointment changed .. I can only make this appointment if they get it done reasonably close to the appointment time as I will have to leave to pick up my daughter from nursery about 20 minutes after the allocated time.

    Merry Christmas all xx

We aren't having visitors today .. Tomorrow is a different matter entirely !! I have to hide it from 20 relatives and then from the outlaws for a week .. Good job I'm quite happy to just simply lie isn't it?! Lol

12 weeks today !!! Not going anywhere until I've had the scan .. If I ever get one hahaha!!! I'm certain something is going to turn up and throw a spanner in the works so I won't get there! And I'm feeling really nauseous still.. Absolutely unheard of!!

I want it to be bedtime already!!! I'm shattered all the time! This usually lasts until about 6 months .. :/
