Glad you had a lovely break dinky, the gender scan sounds great :j

We had our scan this morning and are over the moon, baby is measuring 8+2, exactly per my dates, and had a heartbeat of 170bpm. I sobbed with relief and happiness.

We aren't out of the woods but I feel much more hopeful

Yay Jtr!

I have had horrendous hip pain today I've had it once or twice at night before but never daytime. It was my first day back at work, so maybe sitting in a different chair has triggered it. It's eased now but still sore. And last night I had an odd stitch like pain on left side too. Falling apart!

the stitch like pains are just the round ligaments stretching.. I thought I had ripped myself in two when I sneezed last night and pulled both sides at once..

It's my scan on Friday.. let's hope it is still within the time constraints for NT to be measured.. I look like the side of a bus.. I really shouldn't get any bigger but I know I have at least another 2 stone to pile on *cry*

Gelly.. I am so pleased for you.. I'm probably more delighted by your pregnancy !!

Ouch! I thought it may be round ligament pain but wasn't 100% sure. My hip is still painful but not as bad today as yesterday.

I am ravenous too! I am back in work this week and despite having breakfast of omelette muffins, lunch (soup/salad/jacket or leftovers) and a million snacks I'm still starving! There isn't any more rrom in my bag for more snacks!

Think I am being moved departments today I'm not teaching as not allowed prisoner contact, so have been doing admin in my dept, but I'm not really needed and they are short staffed elsewhere. The big boss wants to see me this afternoon so looks like I'll be moved. Don't realy want to as I love my little dept and will miss my friends,but part of me will be glad to know what I'm doing and have a set job.

Not much to report in the symptom department. Was willing for anything thrown at me for this so far miracle to happen (yes feel like I have won the lotto, thank you sooo much).
Next scan this Friday

Hi all, have been popping into see how you are all doing but haven't got round to posting, have been so so poorly this time around, luckily dh had three weeks off over christmas so he just took over everything as I could barely get out of bed. Had our scan and everything is fine, one sleepy baby! It's so amazing to see that little heartbeat! I suppose I should be on to the next thread, and hopefully will catch up with you all there, scary 2nd trimester already! Where has that time gone?!

Glad everyone is doing well! And lots of scans coming up! Fingers crossed and good vibes to everyone!!

I have the angel sounds doppler and its been fantastic although haven't tried it this time yet, if you run out of gel I found baby oil works well.

Can anyone describe round ligament pain to me? It's my first pregnancy and I have like a niggly pain about my pubic bone. I've not had any spotting or anything and just wondered if anyone had any advice? It's been annoying me since yesterday, it's not very painful at all, just annoying!
