kroberts how long did your booking in appointment take? I seem to remember it taking a while last time, but just wanted to ask, as she's coming at 12, so right at lunchtime.

Thanks for the kind wishes and thoughts - I know I am probably stressing over nothing, so this one reassurance scan should hopefully be all I need.

sexyMouse - good news you finally have a booking in date. I know what you mean about telling ppl - we had planned to keep it a secret until 12 week scan but our hand has been forced due to a family event, the questions will be inevitable if I don't drink and can't think of any plausible excuse as its 2 nights in a hotel, so we are going to tell parents and siblings this week. Not overly comfortable about it but better than constant questions.

Lemontree- that is great weight loss. I am also doing Sliming Word Black Ribboner and glad I can keep up with it throughout pregnancy - although at the moment I feel much more hungry than normal!

Are you going to wait until after your private scan to tell them babyb? Last time around I told everyone in my family the same day as the bfp but this time we wanted to keep it to ourselves a little while longer, though I've told online friends which helps with my inability to talk to family etc about symptoms. Is your scan on Friday?

Hi all! Just want to add myself to the thread. I'm 5+4 and have my booking in app on 19/10. I already have 1 LB who is 2.5, so whilst I'm looking forward to a new baby, I'm also very nervous about how I'll cope with 2! I've had more sickness this time around, although I haven't been sick yet fortunately! Sorry to hear you've actually been ill Lulu.
