Luckily I've not had to deal with the combination of this and work yet (I'm a supply teacher), but will have work every Thursday afternoon right up until my due date starting next week as I'll be doing Year 6 Sats booster sessions. I've not told work yet, but the tests start wb 9th May, and my due date (by my calculations) is 8th May. Hope this baby isn't early!Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Hi just thought I'd pop in and say hello, I'm 4 weeks so still very early days. Seems funny to think I last joined this thread back on page 36 and celebrated my daughters first birthday last Wednesday. Looking forward to getting to know you all better0

Hi LemonTree - I am a newbie to the thread too - I am 6 weeks now. Will be nice for you to be able to look back at your last pregnancy on the thread!
Sexymouse - I am sure work will understand, if you do all of the lessons do you *have* to be there for the actual exams?
Is it weird to be wishing for morning sickness?! Even the low level of nausea I was experiencing has all but disappeared now! I know I should be thankful for a smooth pregnancy, but it is just making me worry that something is wrong! Especially as I was ill last week and think it was food poisoning (nothing too serious over in 36 hours).Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.100 -
Congratulations babyb. I hope we all have smooth journies through our pregnancies. I not sure I'm looking forward to the rollercoaster we have ahead lol0

So trust me to be on Slimming World and only want to eat foods I can't have! The only thing that's settling me atm is pringles!!
So conflicted as I know I need to lose weight but surely eating something regardless is better than not?Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I would say that continue with whatever gets you through this next few months of nausea lulu - last time when I had morning sickness, I spoke to my doctor about my diet, and she said that as long as I was taking my vitamins and eating fortified cereals, that I should be ok. She said she had a friend who lived on dried apricots and toast for the first trimester. It isn't recommended to try to lose weight when pregnant either unless under medical supervision.
