  • Sexymouse, I was referred to a consultant because I have mechanical back pain and a history of depression (though all more or less ok in that department for the moment). Tbh, I don't think I need any special care for either condition and the consultant seemed to agree, there was a general air of bemusement during the appointment!

It is weird wanting to be sick - I kept waiting for it but it never came, so hopefully I'm just one of the 20% rather than something being wrong! I think of this as my first pregnancy, since I miscarried 3 days after finding out about the last one, so will try downward dog, thanks. Will bear the GTT tip in mind too!

6 weeks today and I feel terrible! Nausea, dizziness, headaches, constipation, you name it! The anxious part of me is worrying I've done something wrong as I handled raw bacon yesterday and can't remember if I washed my hands afterwards!

Try not to worry lulu (easier said than done). Relaxing and getting as much rest and a healthy balanced diet (don't forget those prenatal vitamins too) are the most important thing to do at the moment. If you're getting sickness in the mornings, take your vitamin at night so that it has time to absorb. Hugs for the sickness - I had it with my son.

  • Been for my booking in appointment today and all seemed well. My scan date will come in the post in the next couple of weeks and my 15week appointment is already booked with the midwife :)

Glad your booking in went well kroberts. I wish they'd hurry up and call me about when mine will be. I'm getting impatient now. We have so much going on in the next month with my son's birthday, all of his friends' birthdays and some overseas visitors coming, that it is going to need careful planning.

  • 46 hours until my scan and I'm bricking it  The advice from friends is to try and relax - as if I hadn't heard that enough while TTC! I do know it's pointless to panic like this, but there are so many things that could go wrong, not worrying is really hard :/

Fingers crossed for you BR, I know it's really hard not to worry and imagine the worst. Not long to go, though I'm sure it feels like an eternity x
