morning folks, yes i too have experienced cramps not awful but noticeable, midwife pal told me its because your womb is expanding just now and lot going on in there so nothing to worry about.

are you all tracking with an app? i love ovia preganncy app for me at 11 weeks baby is size of a profiterole or a brussel sprout LOL

Had major cramps too, think some of it could be trapped wind too (sorry if tmi!) It is scary but everyone says it's normal and just muscles / ligaments doing stuff - I think if it's too bad then you know it's serious and just not right.


Hope everyone is ok today? Had scan yesterday and all is well, huge relief! Baby was asleep and not up for stretching for measurements or decent picture (despite all my best jiggling and a walk around the car park!) - hope it's that sleepy when it pops out, haha.


They have changed my dates a little, they are saying 12+3, so I'm going to hop onto the next board now. See you all there soon!

Thanks Tam!

Scan went well, despite a 30minute wait with an EXTREMELY full bladder! (So full as soon as the sonographer started scanning she said it was too full & made me pee! :rotfl:) Baby measures at 11w4d with a new EDD of March 4th. It would not stop wriggling!

I booked in for my 20 week scan while I was there, which was handy. I'll give it 3 days before heading signing out & over to the next thread. X

Woohoo that's great news laura! So exciting. That's me officially back at my main job now - I'm shattered! And really hungry! Need to be careful I don't put much on.

Added myself to the list, for better or for worse. Thanks everyone for the reassurances - I haven't had any more cramps, but I'm still really anxious. I just can't shake the feeling I'm a fraud and that when I get to the scan on Thursday they're just going to give me an odd look and say 'but there's nothing there'. . . I'm back at work today after a couple of days off with dreadful sickness. Not feeling that good today either really, but thought I should make an effort to come in. Luckily my boss knows already as I work with radiochemicals so needed to tell her early to make changes to my work, so no need to think up excuses!

My booking in went fine, just asked loads of questions about my medical history and that of oh's as well.
The midwife has said my EDD is down for the 14th March but will get a proper date at my scan next week.
Sickness is still here and is still quite bad, though i still haven't actually been physically sick.

No much to add from me, plodding along. still feeling sick but only actually thrown up a few times. Having a hard time staying positive and have a nagging feeling that its not going to be good news on the 1st.

I am avoiding my apps and trying just not to think about it until I see a little heartbeat at the dating scan then I think I might be able to enjoy this pregnancy a bit more.
