Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

I just called my drs to ask about not having received an appointment for the booking in process and the lady that answered the phone was furious that i'd not had one but had a date for a scan. I explained the unhelpful locum and she said she was going to "have words" about her with management as this wasn't the first time shes been unhelpful.

Anyhoo I've got to pop in tonight to fill in some forms and shes booked me in for the 27th.

Has everyone received good reactions when telling people? One of my closest friends has been trying for a while (not the only one out my friends) with no success but has been really !!!!!y with her comments. I understand it's hard and appreciate it's upsetting when someone else has announced their pregnancy when that's all you want but I'm really getting fed up with the snide digs.

Another friend has gone through similar and teared up when I told her, congratulated me and put on a brave face. I wouldn't mind talking it over because I totally get it but continual digs from this other girl, constant reminders I'm clearly too fat to be having children is upsetting. I don't mention it unless she does but when she asks she comments on what I've been eating and drinking saying she wouldn't drink fizzy juice if she was pregnant. Well, I've cut down loads and have one as a treat now and then. My scan is blurry and can't see anything, well it's early. I apparently was rubbing it in her face telling her early, well, I was excited and she was a close friend, clearly bad judgement. I'm trying not to let it get me down and don't want to fall out but just feel it's a bit bitter. Other friends has told me outright "I'm jealous but very happy for you" great, honest, I don't mind but constant criticism is upsetting - not drinking alcohol while taking drugs, trying to stick to a healthy diet and do my best.

Hi ladies

Removing myself from the list, went for an early scan and unfortunately found out I have had a MMC. The foetus stopped developing at around 6 weeks, over 4 weeks on and my body still thinks it's pregnant So going in on Tuesday for medical management.

So sorry to hear that chocoholic, the same happened to me back in May, although I then miscarried naturally. Be kind to yourself and OH, it's a tough time. Hope your recovery goes well xx

Sweetilemon, sorry to hear your friend isn't being very supportive. I think it's probably really tough for her if she's struggling to conceive, but not nice that she's getting at you. My best friend is pregnant at the moment, and before my mc in May our due dates were just a week apart, so I'm finding it really hard to be there and listen to her woes, offer advice etc, but I'm doing my best to be a good friend.

Maybe just limit contact with her if it's upsetting you, or keep off the subject of babies etc. X

Found myself a bargin today, 2 packs of 56 pregnacare plus for 99p each just because the packaging was bashed (tablets fine). Also got stretchmarks bump cream for 75p reduced from 6.24. Bargin!
