Can I just ask what you ladies are doing exercise wise now you are pregnant?
I have been losing weight since November (over 4 stone) so have been doing a lot of exercise
I am planning on keeping the classes up but have asked before if they are ok. Two have said no (body combat and trampolining) and the rest have said yes but stop if you feel tired/ dizzy and don't do jumping
Just come back from a spin class and for the first time in ages I felt quite dizzy getting off the bike.
I am really conflicted because I desperately don't want to put lots of weight back on but I also don't want to damage myself or cause any problems with the pregnancy
Those of you who do lots of excercise do you intend to keep it up?
As a guide I currently do 7 fitness classes a week and walk in excess of 30 miles a weekI am a Mortgage Adviser

hope the scan goes well japmis.
haras_nosirrah I was exercising quite intensely before i fell pregnant, but have currently stopped as i just haven't got the energy to do it. I was following a plan and it advises not to continue if pregnant. Once i get some energy back i plan on doing workout dvds, maybe a dancing/ cardio type 2 or 3 times a week just to keep a little active. If you're not feeling well, dizzy ect defo stop. Walking should be good to continue though.hi0 -
Hope your scan has gone well japmis
I'm off sick again today, sickness really bad. I threw up in the nursery carpark after dropping DD off, thank god none of my colleagues or any other parents were there at the time! Will be glad when this settles down, though not expecting it to be soon as went on til 16 weeks with my firstLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Little moog sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon. I am away with work this weekend, I had to tell another collegue because I was lifting boxes which I did but then was going to need to carry them up 3 flights of stairs, wasn't sure that was a good idea so just told her. Also we hadn't had dinner and I really needed to eat! Was nearly sick after though but it did stay down - just.0

Sorry you guys are feeling rough with sickness. I was trying to explain how i was feeling to my husband and the only way for him to understand was that it feels like a really bad hangover without the headache.
You feel tired, like you haven't slept properly....... you feel sick CONSTANTLY but almost know you wont actually be sick, that feeling in your stomach and throat that just wont go away whether you eat or not, when you do eat you feel like you're going to bring it back up but if you don't eat it's just as bad.

That is exactly how I feel - like I have a permanent hangover! Last week I felt sick constantly, but this week I am finding it a bit easier and the symptoms ease off every now and then. Unfortunately I seem to have put on a bit of weight - I'm sure it's not anything to do with the baby yet, just all the extra snacking I'm doing to keep the sickness under control!0

I love reading these posts, they are exactly what I'm thinking and make me feel normal!
I was on a diet for 14 months before getting pregnant, seriously nice to eat again without the guilt trip in every bite (I type that with a mouth full of digestive - my new favourite anti sickness food)0
