It's so quiet on this thread
I suspect we're all waiting for nothing to happen! It feels like the 2ww has nothing on this first 12 weeks!
Midwife appointment booked on 5th May for me.Married MSE style (sort of) 9/10/10 :j0 -
I remember from my first how the first 12 weeks seem to drag. It's because you keep worrying and knicker checking :rotfl:
I'm 4 weeks 1 day today apparently. Still haven't been able to get a doctors appointment, but hoping to get one next week...
Won't feel real until first scan0 -
Morning everyone :hello:
just popping over from ttc, as I got my BFP on Friday. I think I'm 3+6 today, due date 29th December so it will be an interesting Christmas! (or mid January based on how long DD took to arrive) Saw the GP on Friday, super early as I have hypothyroidism and it needs special monitoring in early pg, so he's referred me to the obs/endocrinology clinic. I was under them with DD as well.

Hi all, glad more people have turned up! The first 12 weeks is soooo sloooow!! 2 weeks today until my 12 week scan, it's been a long time coming due to being a late ovulator so only 10 weeks where most people with my LMP date are 11 or 12 weeks.
Even though I had 2 early scans due to bleeding and saw the heartbeat at the second one I'm still worried all the time. Been lucky though, the nausea and bloating has almost passed, as has the constipation, just the terrible wind left to contend with :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hi everyone, I'm 8-9 weeks at the moment and got the bfp about 4 weeks ago still doesn't feel real!!
I'm hoping for some advice from you. Before I fell pregnant I was having abdominal pain, they thought it may be cysts but ultrasound was clear. It's likely to be scar tissue from appendectomy but I wasn't able to fully empty my bladder at the previous ultrasound so they have booked me in for another one to check its ok.
Now my bladder ultrasound is this weekend but my 12 week scan is not until the 13th may.
Do you think I will be able to see the baby in the scan this weekend on my bladder? Do you think they will be able to show me, and say it's ok?Recently married and loving it x0 -

Just wanted to say.. you think your a late ovulator listen to this. Last period was first week of December, I was caught around the 4th of Feb. So when I got my bfp in March it worked out I should have been around 12/13 weeks pregnant when I was dated at 4/5 weeks hahaNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
I'm not sure Nightsky, I guess ask and the worst they can do is say no.
Blimey MrsHaworth2b, that is an epic amount of time between LMP and ovulation!
I had read that allergies can get worse in pregnancy and it seems mine has - generally react to prawns, crayfish, & squid but had tinned white crab meat last night and reacted to it where I've always been fine eating crab before. So spent half the night throwing up! I'm lucky in that shellfish just makes me dreadfully sick, I don't get breathing difficulties/anaphylactic shock or anything truly serious.0 -
I suppose, just so keen to find out everything is ok.
That sucks about your allergies, can't of been a fun night. My asthma has got a little worse which they say is quite common too.I'm not sure Nightsky, I guess ask and the worst they can do is say no.

Morning all
Hope everyone is doing ok. Nothing happening here which is probably a good sign. Seem to have a bit of insomnia though, which I suffered with dreadfully during my last pregnancy. Can’t believe it’s started already, not even 5 weeks yet!Need to start doing my mindfulness practice again!
