Please look after yourself Pinkshoes. I know you were trying not to get your hopes up but it's so hard not too. Be kind to yourself today.

Love to all you other ladies too. I'm still signed of work due to feeling pants. But my next appointment is Thursday so hoping for a miracle cure.

Hi, my fiancee and I are in 9th week and experiencing some cramps and also been some spotting and discharge, orangey like. Is this something to be worried about?

Being a man I have no idea but my fiancee is worrying. We can't get an appointment at GP until next week and we're due to see midwife on 5th March anyway. We are going to go to the hospital tomorrow morning to try and get seen at an EPU.

    Any advice please?

If it helps I had orange/brown spotting at about 6 weeks and everything was fine. If it's red like new blood or there is lots of it that's the sign to worry I believe.

I'd do exactly what your doing. If you Google you should be able to get the number for your EPU and give them a call. They should then book you a time to go in and probably have an early scan.

Fingers crossed all is ok. I remember how terrifying it was despite all the reassurances everyone kept giving me.

Alternatively if you have the number call your midwife and she will help.
