    Can I join? (again...)

Got my BFP yesterday and trying not to get too excited, as had a MMC in September at 11 ish weeks, which was only discovered after paying for a private scan.

Really hoping to graduate this thread.

I guess i ought to phone the doctors today. Apparently we can't see a midwife until we have seen a doc first.

This will be our 2nd (DS is 4), and I am 35.

Hi Pinkshoes and congratulations! :D hope ur pregnancy is stress free this time! :)

  • Congratulations Pinkshoes!

Had a stressful day today as found some spotting while out and about with MIL (who doesn't know) so had to carry on as normal while stressing inside. Thankfully I've got some great friends from here the first time around who calmed me down a little and the spotting didn't amount to much so I'm trying to forget about it and go back to assuming everything will be ok.

Also went to Drs this morning for DS jabs and picked up the form they have for starting the midwife process locally, didn't have a date for LMP so hoping that means they'll want to try and scan nice and early to date it :)
  • Congratulations pink shoes!! I hope this pregnancy goes smoothly for you x

A small amount of spotting jenni_fer is normal I think but when you get in contact with your midwife I'd mention it just to be sure :)

3 weeks today til my booking in appointment - not that I'm counting down or anything! I just wish I "felt" pregnant as it would probably ease my worries but I guess it's early days? Apart from the occasional hot flush and twinges in my stomach (plus the fact I am apparently incapable of deciding what to eat, which is driving hubby mad) I feel fine!

Hope the spotting is very temporary jenni_fer. Congrats to the recent BFPs especially those who have clearly waited so long.

All quiet here, I think I am 6+5, midwife appointment next Thursday and we have booked a private scan for a week tomorrow. Felt extremely nauseous non stop for a week but it seems to have subsided. The pain in my nipples (Reynauds?) that I had last time has returned with a vengeance, it's so so painful! Stretching pains are a bit ouchy too, had forgotten about those...

Spotting. Think this BFP might be short lived :(

So I'm just lurking on here at the moment as I got my bfp from ivf last saturday. Ive had a few symptoms on and off the last week i.e. headache, sore boobs, heart burn tiredness but just get extra paranoid when I feel ok as I've had a missed miscarriage and chemical pregnancy. Fingers crossed until my first scan on 2nd march. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy xxxx

Lots more blood now. Pretty sure it is back to square one again. Feel so gutted, even though i was trying not to get my hopes up.
