7 weeks and 3 days and everything is fine :) Soooo relieved! No answer as to what the pain is, but I can put up with it as long as things are OK.

Not overly happy that on the report to the doctor they wrote that they couldn't thoroughly check my ovaries as I was full of gas however!

Glad everything's ok for you Katy. Could the pain have been the gas? I've been suffering with quite bad pain from trapped wind and it always seems to be on the left side.

I suppose it could be but it is always in the same place so I am not sure. Either way I can put up with it now I know everything is OK.
Just wish the morning sickness would hurry up and finish, not having fun with that at all!

  • Katy 721 quick question what was the pain like that you was experiencing. Im 7+3 and have been having what I can describe as twinges (not particularly painful and don't last long, I maybe get them a couple of times a day) on both sides of the middle of my stomach. It's my first and I'm not sure if this is normal or not. TIA :)

It's my first too so not sure either!

It started as twinges in the middle and on both sides, but then changed to twinges on the right side and gradually got more painful. When the doctor pressed on my side it made my legs shoot up!

It was kind of like a sustained twinge if that makes sense?

It still hurts now but has dulled down a bit. They couldn't find anything other than what looked like an old bleed that had started to heal. I wouldn't worry too much unless it is just on one side. That is why they gave me a scan as it was mainly on one side so they had to check for an ectopic pregnancy.

Apparently you can gets twinges as things start stretching and changing. Hope that helps!
