Lisajane - that is thorough! I have my booking in appointment tomorrow morning. Not sure what to expect as I've moved area since having DD and things seem to be different everywhere from what I hear! Have a feeling mine's going to be a long one and the MW is going to wish she'd never met me, as I have a list of horrible symptoms as long as my arm to check over with her!0

I've got my booking in appointment tomorrow afternoon - slightly nervous about it! I didn't think it would take so long either  anything I particularly need to take with me/ask?
I just want it to be past 12 weeks so we can tell peopleBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Musogirl and slowly fading - hope your booking appointments don't take too long. It's exciting to get it done but also a boring long list of questions.
Slowly fading - you'll need a urine sample and not much else I suspect.
A fresh start - it has been a bit quiet, I just feel like I'm moaning all the time.
Had two days of respite from nausea but it came back with a vengeance yesterday. Also my blood pressure I starting to get a little low and I'm getting the odd dizzy spell. It's all so jolly this early pregnancy lark.
When I took someone's coil out so she could TTC I found myself warning her about the perils of early pregnancy!
Just counting down to the Nt scan next week so we can start telling close friends, I'm fibbed loads this week. In fact the girls in my evening clinic said today 'don't get pregnant yet'. Too late!0 -
I decided not to do the digital test to get a rough estimate, going to wait and see what the doctor says first. OH wants it to be a surprise!
Not had morning sickness at all today, and only slightly yesterday. Also had cramps today. I moan about feeling ill and then worry when I don't feel ill!
Just going to try not to think about it too much and just wait and see what happens.
I hope everyone is doing ok and the booking in appointments go well!0 -
Hi girls! Thanks for asking. Scan was so amazing!! For those of you still waiting, it is such a relief to see the wee thing on screen! Two arms, two legs, a brain, a spine and a jaw and a big fat belly! It had its legs crossed and was hicupping! Such a little miracle!! I can sleep easy tonight!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):

Lisa Jane - amazing that your scan went so well. It's cool that you can see so much, a lot of change from the 8 week blob a few of us have seen.0

Glad your scan went well Lisajane.
Booking in appointment done. Everything OK so far. Will have to have blood test in a week or so and have to pick up a prescription for the higher dose folic acid due to my BMI.
Our early scan is on Tuesday. Nervous, but looking forward to being able to tell DD. She is getting worried watching me retching over the toilet every morning!0 -
Have seen the doctor this afternoon and he is guessing at about 8 weeks pregnant but wants me to have a scan. He said to get booked in with the midwife asap to get my first appointment set up and a scan organised. All fine, except the midwife hasn't got any free appointments at all for 6 weeks!
I have never been one to be patient, this is not going to be easy waiting!0 -
Any tips on how to get through my hen do (avoiding drinking) without having to explain to everyone? I hate lying to people but until I have a rough idea of how pregnant I am I darent tell anyone!0
