If it is a girl there is a definate trend to not dressing babies in pink. I see a lot of white and black for instance its cute classy.

in terms of decorating a room stickers are great, we had a rainbow stickers for our boy up until recently when dh brought loads of dinosaur stickers.

So I thought I'd spruce up the list a bit Its now numbered so we can see a bit clearer who is next to graduate, plus it can hopefully add a bit of excitement for those who are nearly there (i.e. me, haha! ) I jumped up a place after my last scan so we're no longer date twins Princess!

I've also put in red those who have technically graduated but we've not actually heard from to make it official. If you are still around louised78 and betti911 give us a shout to let us know how you are. We miss you! I don't want to just take people off but perhaps if they don't respond in the next few days or when someone else graduates then I'll take them off - hope I don't offend anyone by doing that

Thanks all for the good wishes for tomorrow, I'm a bit nervous, just can't wait to see baby again but just hope everything is ok. My appointment is at 8.30, glad I won't have to be waiting around all day.

Thanks for asking Aunty-Pickle, everything went well with the midwife, it's the same one I saw in Feb before it all went wrong and she seems nice. Like others on the thread I got the "geriatric" label plastered all over my file and apparently as this is the case will be consultant led and will have a consultant appt. at 12 weeks. She even called the scan booking lady at the hospital to see if they had appointments for the 13/11 which is the only date I am not on Holiday for my 12 week scan, if they leave it later it'll be too late & they seemed confident they could book it once the paperwork through so all fingers and toes are crossed. Good luck with your scan today. Hope it all goes well.

All done at my booking & all was fine. Baby measuring fine, rubbish pictures as baby was lying front on, could see it dancing tho which was sweet. Had my BP, height, weight and bloods done & was out in about 2 hours. Relieved everything is fine tho, been moved a day so looks like missy moo & I are date twins again!

So pleased everyone else's booking apt and scans have gone well!!!

Anyway, so..... the main news is that there is only one baby!!!! They have dated me at 10+6 and EDD 15.04.2015 so moved a couple of days forward.

The complication is that I have a large (9x9x9cm) growth that's "blocking the exit" as the sonographer put it. That's what's making me measure large and what the GP could feel.

So, I have an appointment with the consultant obstetrician on 7th October, and have had a blood test today to test if it is anything "nasty". The chances of it being nasty are very small. They will then decide whether it needs to be removed soon or can wait until birth - which may have to be a c-section. If they wait I would have extra monitoring which I guess is no bad thing.

So, it's been a roller-coaster of emotions and quite a few tears. So strange, being mentally prepared for it to be twins, seeing only one baby then the (very nice) sonographer saying there was something else there. We knew it could have been a fibroid or cyst or something but not completely prepared for the more serious implications that appear to be arising from it.

They did give us 4 pics for free though!!

So, not much else to say really!!

Hi all, just checking in for the last time as I had my scan on Friday and all was fine! What a relief! It turned out I was 13 weeks and not 12 AND they were able to tell me that I am carrying a little baby boy! so all in all great news. Best of luck to all of you guys in that hard first 3 months. It feels like forever but you will get there in the end, just like me! Thanks for all your advise and company, X
