I've been booked in for a GTT at 28 weeks I think it was, need to look through the list of appointments I was given this morning! Well it's a bit late for me to do anything about my weight now really. My weight is linked to my PCOS so I never lose lots even when I'm really good.
Been lovely telling people today, lovely when people are genuinely really happy for you
Picked up my bounty pack after work, lots of goodies in there so I've got lots to look through tonight.
Think I'll stay here for now missy & lurk on the other board from tomorrow when I'm technically 12 weeks. x0 -
Can I ask a silly question? How does one get a bounty pack that iv heard so much about?0

The first you should get either at your first midwife appointment or your 12 week scan. That one should have a voucher in it for the second. The third is given to you in the hospital (which I don't think is fair, since some people don't give birth in a hospital!).

I don't think I got it at the midwife appointment (though I was given a lot of stuff but I have gone through it all) so hopefully I will get it next week at my 12 week scan then. Thank you.0 -
I got mine yesterday at my 12 week scan & it had the Boucher for the 2nd I collected from boots.0

Watch out for those bounty ladies on the ward, they give you your pack but also ask to take photos, I looked like !!!! so I said no. Found it a bit intrusive really.
Day off work today looking after my little boy, he is just having a sleep and now my nausea has settled after a cuppa soup going to get some jobs done.
Auntie pickle - has your sickness settled a bit yet. How is everyone else feeling. I have been nauseous this week but it has been more manageable. Also feeling tired but no breast tenderness at all which I had a lot during my first pregnancy.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
Milly, I also received my bounty info pack at my scan yesterday.
Hi Jedi. My OH says that I'm not as bad sickness/nausea wise. I am able to eat a wider variety of food than before (I'm going to have quiche for lunch and I guess I couldn't have even contemplated that a few weeks ago). It still varies from day to day though so it hasn't just completely stopped like it does for some people. I guess it is better than it was - it's just hard to see that when I still basically feel so rough!!
But yeah, the tiredness is something else!!!! I'm ready for bed by about 7.30pm but then can't sleep!!!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
Finally heard from midwife today, she was only told about me this week. Coming to my house to do booking in this Sunday which is good
OH will have to take the other 2 for a walk I think x

coming to your house that seems rather good service ! there doesn't seem to be any consistency between trusts as to how you get to your booking appointment, I know a lot of you have been frustrated waiting for dates at the hospital and yet mine was done at the GP's with the midwife and I just booked an appointment as soon as I knew and now Phoenix has someone coming to the house !. It would be much easier to know what to expect if everyone stuck to the same rules.0

My (very last minute) booking in appointment was held at a local community/children's center. My scan will be at the hospital and my 16 week appointment is at my house (and we will be bang in the middle of building work at that time).
I agree, would be nice if there was some commonality between the trusts.0
