When we found out oh rang his mum straight away coz he was freaking out lol and then we told my dad and brother and a couple of close friends but kept quiet with everyone else til the scan. One of my oldest friends has stopped speaking to me since we told her and the only thing I can put it down to is that she decided not to,have anymore children due to issues with her first and is upset about the situation. XxxDebt free finally :j

I got my bounty pack at my 12 week scan and picked up the second pack from Asda as you tend to get a bit extra in there, I ended up with a pack of 10 bibs.
Good luck ladies, it might seem like a long road ahead but it soon gets to the sticky end lol

This is awful! Have you actually spoken to her about the way she is acting since telling her? I'm sure she must have her reasons, but if she is one of your oldest friends then hopefully she won't let your friendship end because you're having a baby! She can't expect you not to have children just because she has decided not to have anymore.0 -
I had my first midwife appt at the doctors surgery, they have certain days when a midwife will be in, then the midwife normally comes to your house for the booking appt. Because I have my parents with me at the moment and I hadn't yet told them, we arranged for me to have it at the hospital, although that would have been one way of telling them the news
As for the Bounty packs, I had also heard that Asda was the best. I got some cute Winnie the Pooh bibsApparently Argos is better for the Emma's Diary packs, but to be honest there wasn't really anything extraordinary in there so I may try Boots for the next one.
So I'm officially 12 weeks today along with Princess kate, woo hoo!! :j:j:j I'll be staying around here though until I have my 13 week scan this time next week, all being well. Whew, first trimester see ya later!!! I'm just praying that I don't now suddenly get sick in my second, as I managed to go my first 3 months without any sickness at all.0 -
I picked up my bounty pack from Boots & had a hooded baby towel in mine, as well as lots of samples & vouchers, washing stuff and cleaning bits. Pretty good really and a couple of magazines to wormy way through. Also got a MASSAIVE book from the hospital, bump, baby & beyond!0

I ended up somehow getting 4 of those hooded towels between being pregnant with Dale and this pregnancy. Wonderful to have because I still use them on my hair (and have been my whole life!).

Quiet on here today. How is everyone today?
I'm fine thankyou, I had a busy day at work today but I don't mind because the day goes quicker. The only thing is I'm getting a bit anxious because I've been moving lots of equipment such as mats and boxes because we're teaching vaulting this half term, and whilst I feel fine I know we shouldn't really be lifting anything, and of course I've read lots of horror stories on the internetI've got my scan next week which I can't wait for now, I'm just praying that everything is ok because I think I've probably been over-doing it
On another note, I also have my meeting with the Head on Monday, eek! I'm so nervous, I'm just hoping she is ok with it all. I'm sure she will be, but I know there may be a few issues covering my maternity leave within my department, plus I have a few appointments to put in the diary where I'll need time off.
How are you milly?0 -
Ok thanks, just tired, dh is just putting our boy to bed while I rest a bit.
I am helping out at an nct childrens sale on Saturday so must be a bit careful with the lifting and take plenty of food so I don't feel sick.
Just been looking at some clothes for my boy in the mothercare sale page has freezed up though so prob lots of people buying stuff.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -

Teaching vault hey? Im a qualified gymnastics coach and been teaching since i was 13. i know what you mean about lugging equipment about. Just remember to not be shy to ask for help if you need it.
Oh good like on Monday, im sure it will go well.
Im counting down the minutes now until my scan on tuesday. Wont feel real until i see that scan. And then it will be time to tell people. ahhhh, scary!0
