    Hi all,

Nervously joining. Found out on saturday and also due 08.06.15 by my dates. Had a miscarriage at 16 weeks in June so feeling a bit worried about it all. I also have a 3 year old daughter.
  • Congrats Wendz and hello !

I was really pleased to get my scan appointment through today for the one day that I was within the right time window and not on holiday. It's on the 13/11/14 - looks like all my mutterings about the NHS not being that organized will have to be taken back !

Hope everyone is feeling OK this week.

Wow, welcome all the newbies!!! Congratulations and I hope your pregnancy journey is stress-free and as much symptom free as possible!

AngelMommy - the whole nausea/vomiting is pants isn't it? I think (please!) mine is beginning to ease now (just coming up to 12 weeks) but you certainly have my full sympathies.
KrustyLouise - hope the dizziness is not too debilitating for you.
Wendz - hope you are not too worried about things but able to enjoy this pregnancy.

Midnight ninja - hope your scan went well today.

  • Aunty-pickle. Glad your sickness/nausea seems to be easing. It seems unfair that we're desperately trying to keep this secret while our bodies are doing their upmost to make it obvious to the outside world. Hope mine starts easing by 12wks. Xx

  • Wow welcome to all the newbies :0)

It's totally true angel mommy about trying to keep these babies quiet, I am 8 weeks tomorrow and have put on 4cm round my waist I started wearing maternity work trousers today, I am worried others will notice and my crazy eating habits which are constant to try and reduce the nausea.

With my first pregnany - My sickness improved about 9 weeks, then even better at 12 and then gone at 16 weeks ( I read my old preg diary)

Wendz - sorry to hear you have that extra worry because of your history of miscarriage all you can do is look after yourself. Hugs

Congratulations and welcome hippihaz! Hope everything goes well for you in your travels - how far gone will you be?

Yes, the whole clothing thing is a bit frustrating isn't it jedi?! I'm kind of too "fat" for most of my normal clothes - and don't like anything tight around my tummy - but maternity stuff looks a bit silly!! My SIL (who had a baby in August) has just given me a huge bag full of stuff so hopefully there will be some useful things in there.
