The scan went amazingly. It now feels real. I do actually have a baby growing inside me! Who knew!

Ive lots of photos, she said it was very clear and bladder nicely full. Baby is a wriggler and was constantly moving its legs, waving and saluting.

They measured me at 12+6 which is 4 days further along than dated so my new due date is 8th April 2015.

We have our plans to tell parents on Friday and some friends on Saturday and then as and when we see other people, Still not decided on when to tell work. But my waistline is telling me I wont have too long before they start to guess, if they haven't already.

Hope you guys are all doing well!

Im now officially moving to the other thread but I will keep checking back here to see how your all doing.

Hi Hippi!

I am a bit worried I am going to show quickly this time especially as I might hold off telling people longer. I haven't lost the weight i put on in last pregnancy so need to be more careful but am so hungry already!

Wendz, I was just thinking that myself this morning, I'm up a stone from DD1 and now up 5lbs already and only at 7 weeks ! I just can't seem to stop eating to keep the nausea away.

Really pleased your scan went well Milly. It's quite surreal isn't it? - seeing a little baby shape wriggly away!!!

(Sorry ninja, got muddled up - it was midwife apt yesterday not scan! - blame baby-brain!)

I am also scared that my increasing waistline will give it away. 4 more weeks to go till 12 weeks for me, midwife next week so hope to get scan date soon after that, which is what happened with my first.

I had a pain in my stomach today while talking to a colleague which I clutched and she said it's the baby kicking ( I have regular baby innuendo at work) I said it's the wind from all those sweets I have been eating. She was very close to the truth but I kept to a poker face phew!

Just trying to work out what to cook for dinner, have chicken defrosted, think I am going for herb marinated chicken jamie Oliver recipe. Feel so hungry I could eat a horse argh

Had bad stabbing pains on my left side though yesterday night and today, so got to go to EPU tomorrow think I'm too early to scan, so I'm expecting blood tests, not had any bleeding or other symptoms cant help worrying Fingers crossed its an ovarian cyst or ligament pain and I'm being a wuss! x

not at all thank you foo thinking about me midwife went well anyway , lots of questions looking forward to my scan so i can finally tell people :j and find out how far along i am, might jump up the list a bit after next Thursday :rotfl:

Unfortunately after a few months of slimming world and finally getting a flat tummy again, mine popped back out 3wks ago. I'm now sporting a decent bump but luckily I doubt anyone would think anything of it as baby is only 10m. He took 7yrs to conceive so nobody will assume I'm pregnant again. Covering up the nausea and sickness can be difficult though and if I wasn't on maternity leave, I'd have problems.
