Ah right, I have a 24 cycle and Ov-ed on CD14 so the NHS one is probably right then as it asked me the cycle days.

Yep if you ov on day 14 then you can just use your first day of last period it will be correct on any calculator as thats what they assume unless they ask otherwise (unless the NHS thinks you ov on day 10 as it might do that if its counting 14 days back back from cd24) :)

If you go to a calculator that doesnt ask cycle length you can compare answers, this one is good you can put in your ovulation date or lmp

Welcome Daisiegg. I went straight to my booking in appointment with the midwife without seeing GP...I think that's fairly normal.

I had my scan today... baby completely misbehaved by being upside down and on it's head at one point so she struggled to get the NT measurement but she got there in the end. I must have had a growth spurt because I'm measuring 12+5 and they've brought my due date forward to 3rd August. Exciting stuff!

Still not confident enough to tell people. I might just wait until they ask!

Welcome daisiegg so pleased for you x

ooooh congrats on your scan derby, sounds like you have a mischievous one there!

well I have officially lost a stone in weight (don't ask me from where) and am totally fed up with the sickness. I actually think it is starting to ease off a bit now so I hope the end is in sight and I guess I needed to lose some weight anyway lol

    hugs to all x

    Lol!

Another way is to just get out a calendar, and count 38 weeks from the day you ovulated or 40 from lmp as you ov on day 14 so will be the same. No calculator required :)

Purcy81 well done on the weight loss but hugs for the sickness. Thankfully I'm only getting mild nausea at the moment

Ok....did anyone keep on testing after getting their BFP? I have loads of tests and I was stocked up so I thought I'd keep doing them for the first week or so just to reassure myself everything is ok.

Well....today, the line is lighter than it was yesterday

I have no idea what this means (if anything?) today's test was from a new box but they are all the same brand. Yesterday and today was both fmu. I do think today's was more dilute (sorry if tmi!) than yesterday's (I collect in a container and test so I can see it), although they were both at the same time of morning yesterday's was darker.

Should I be worried? I feel really scared in case it is a bad sign. I hope I am just being silly...but I know how common chemical pregnancies are :( I have enough tests in the bathroom drawer to drive myself crazy over the next couple of weeks. Seeing that line not coming up as dark as yesterday's has made me realise how much I do want this, even if I was freaking out yesterday, and I want it to stick! :(

I feel crazy but can't stop worrying. Hubby is away so no one to talk to/tell me I am being stupid. I am googling like a loon and finding all sorts of conflicting stuff - lots of people saying the darkness of their lines fluctuated and their baby was fine, but lots of people also saying it happened and ended in chemical pregnancy :( aargh!

    Anyone got any ideas?!

Ok I have just noticed as well (though it is not clear in the picture) the control line is also slightly lighter than the control line on yesterday's...lots of stuff online is saying it can just be to do with slight variations in the amount of dye in each test...and today's test is from a different box and it is a different batch and date code too...trying not to worry...but hard!

Oh god, if this does stick I am going to be freaking out over every tiny twinge for the next 9 months aren't I?! Argh :(
