    Feel free.

Sorry Mrs TM I just use a normal bath mat. Maybe expand wider on the site - there will be somebody who knows.

  • Sorry mrs tm, i don't have any recommendations either. My only experience with a non-slip bath mat left me lying half in, half out of the bath with a bruised head and ego. Needless to say it got binned! If you find any that have been recommended could you let me know as i put oil on at the end of my shower now so it's pretty slippy and oh keeps shouting at me. Lol. :)

Mrs TM my parents used to have one something like this. Obviously it's not pretty but it did the trick re being non-slip and it wouldn't annoy your landlord.

We have a wet room downstairs that was installed for a disabled former inhabitant. It's absolutely hideous but is definitely non slip :D we're having a new bathroom installed soon though as soon as I can pin the builder down to a date, and that will have a walk in shower which I'll be able to use for the rest of my pregnancy without fear of slipping. Upstairs is a bath that my husband installed and he put it in far too high, it's already the deepest bath I could find so really not easy to climb into when you're getting a bit big and immobile...

Just delurking to say to Mrs_T_M that the rubber mats don't go mouldy if you only put them in each time you're actually having a shower or bath...I used to have one like this for my kids and at the end of each bathtime I'd pull it out, rinse it in cold water and hang it over the bath to dry, sucker-side out if you see what I mean. I hate rubber bath mats but safety had to come first. Hope that helps xx

Thanks angel, but the little suckers on the back are what I'm trying to stay away from. They are a wonderful place for mould and the dreaded 'pink slime' to grow, and won't be able to scrub it with an old toothbrush when im mahoosive! Im thinking about getting a set of these (sorry for the long link, I still have no laptop!): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Munchkin-11196-Grippy-Dots/dp/B0057EDBDW/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1403515276&sr=8-7&keywords=stickers+slip with some of these around them: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tenura-Anti-Shower-Discs-Clear/dp/B007W2FQG2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1403515276&sr=8-6&keywords=stickers+slip

hope that makes things a bit clearer. :)

We are currently waiting on our new fridge freezer to be delivered. Our landlord bought it, so I have no idea what kind it is, I'm just really hoping that our freezer is at least the same size as our old one, otherwise my batch cooking is doomed!

That sounds about right I think for where you're at PM? I know it must be frustrating hun but the scan next week should show a bit more. It always amazes me that they can see anything at all considering how small it all starts out!

They found my girl and her HB at almost 7 weeks when she was the size of a grain of rice after 5 tearful (on my part) minutes of searching by the ultrasound lady! TBH there still wasn't much to see at that point either other than that little flicker on the screen!

I'm glad they're taking care of you with extra scans though are you feeling any better today? x
