Congratulations part mouse, I've been following your story on the other thread (in a non stalker way!!!) And was pleased to hear your news!

I had awful headaches in the early days that paracetamol did nothing for! The thing that I found really helped was a can of full fat coke. Its something to do with the sugar and caffeine. Odd but it was the only thing that helped me. I don't drink ff coke as I don't like it but the occasional can really saved me. Hope it helps!!

    Lilmiss delurking is always good.

With the suspected uti I went to a walk in centre on fri, they didn't think I had one but when I was in lots of pain on Saturday they said I did but my gp said I didn't. Hmm not very helpful being told so many different things.

Just before I found out I was pg a different gp in the practice thought I had a sinus so gave me anti biotics, it turns out she gave me the wrong dose.luckily the pharmacist and I spotted it.theres only one other gp at my practice.

    Eek feeling really sick now.

Edit its hard to know what pg symptoms, what's coming off meds and what's the crazy post 7 years ttc feelings.

I'd consider moving GP practice. This time is too important to mess around with to have lots of different opinions. My own UTI was 'maternal bladder irritation!' I said does that just mean i need to pee more but we don't know why? Yup he said. Pg masks everything he says. Drink lots of fluids and take care. This was fine by me as the symptoms eased off over that 24 hour period. I have considered registering at the walk in GP surgery instead of my normal oneas they seem so much more accesible.

No you will not be able to work out which is which. I guess whichever it is, none of them are going to go away. Feeling rubbish is a good sign but I do not remember those days with fondness.

Lilmiss good to hear yours eased off quickly.i changed gp late last year/ early this year after a very strange/inappropriate comment from my previous gp.so far I've not found the services in my area very good.

I'm hoping the rubbish feeling doesn't last to long but I've got a funny feeling it wil.sleep can't come soon enough.

Thanks part mouse my gp said I should have heard by lunchtime today, I just hope it hasn't spread further than nursery/reception as I still have to teach in all of the other year groups. Hopefully I'm immune and it will be noting to worry about.

Very tenatively posting here. Found out I'm pregnant again a few days ago. Going by my dates, I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow!

After suffering losing our daughter at 20 weeks last January, I have to force myself to take one day at a time and enjoy every moment. I got this bfp on Dale's due date.
