Aqua blees you thanks for the congrats aswell.
It's crazy your not to far from your EDD, you must be so pleased. I've not had any bleeding but lots of cramping. My hcg just over doubled in under 48 hr so I'm hoping its a sticky bean, whilst ts still early days I'm trying to be hopeful.0 -
Yey for happy scans! No idea how I will manage to wait another 8 or 9 weeks for mine! I had a call from the midwife today to arrange my booking in appt. I thought it would be a quick 2 minute chat but she asked me lots of questions so I had to crouch in the corridor at work and keep on the lookout that
no-one I knew was around, lol. Also been to see the GP to check that flying in the first trimester will be safe. Got the thumbs up as expected but bit concerned about the possibility of needing hospital care while abroad if anything was to happen. Anyone on this thread planning a trip soon?0 -
Brilliant news Alice31 and toooldforthis!:j:j
I really didn't expect to see mine moving at the 12 week scan either.
Our two are due Christmas Day and Boxing Day toooldforthis:santa2: - all done with in time for bubbly at New Year do you think?:beer:_party_0 -
Nicky no trips here I'm afraid. Good to hear you've spoken to a mw though. I've got to wait awhile to see my gp before getting to speak to a mw.0

We are going to New York for a week in August. It's right around the 12 week mark, so hopefully I can get a scan date the week before or after. I guess we are just going to get decent travel insurance!
If everything goes to plan this is going to be our last holiday for a very very long time, so I'm not cancelling!
So pleased for you Toooldforthis and alice 310 -
Morning all hope everyone is ok :-) ... going to graduate to the next thread but will still lurk here too x0

~5w mark today and hormones are well and truly kicking in as she woke me up at half 3 this morning crying in her sleep! I didn't wake her, just let her to it then asked her about it this morning!
Does not help that 1st is still not sleeping all the way through (much better than he was but still not great) and the stress of work redundancy so she is knackered!
I might have to gut out my office sooner (to be converted into 2nd's room) and plonk the air bed in there haha!0 -
Has anyone had a stinking headache? I had one for a week before finding out I was pg just after iui. It keps returning and paracetomal don't see to be helping0

I did, up until I was about 8 weeks I had chronic headaches. I think it's hormones. I've always been prone to them anyway though and find the best thing that helps is drinking loads and loads of water - paracetamol don't do much for me either.0
