Tink, thanks for the suggestion about the maternity bands...not too sure how they work though???
Hope everyone is feeling ok today, I think I make symptoms appear on weekends as I can laze around and moan, whereas at work as I am not telling anyone I simply have to get on with things.
Got my private scan tomorrow, hopefully will then know if I am 7 or 8 weeks. Feeling a bit apprehensive and already had a few tears in case they find nothing. Fingers crossed all will be ok though0 -

Hello ladies,
Congrats on your scan tinkwings!
I started feeling sick last night and have felt like I've had a hangover all day! Eating didn't seem to make it any better or worse, just has stayed with me all day. We were supposed to go for a nice meal for our wedding anniversary but decided it would be a waste of money!!
Good luck for your scan tomorrow Tia.0 -
How did you get on Tia? Keeping everything crossed for you.
Air cooled - I know what you mean about being symptom-less.
I'm now 6+1 and feel totally normal - no tiredness, no real bloating, no sickness and even my sore nipples are vanishing - starting to worry to be honest as I lost the triplets at 6+2, 6+3 and 6+5 so I'm pretty much at the same point as last time.
Am away with my parents at the moment but home tomorrow and have got our first midwife appt on Weds so I'm really hoping she'll send us for an early scan at the EPU although it will bring back some horrible memories. If we can't have an NHS scan then we'll book a private one but am super worried now. Even did another CB digi yesterday and this morning and they are only showing 2-3 weeks when it should easily be 3+.
Anybody got any advice? It's only 2 days to wait but it's going feel like a lifetime!

Hope scan went well Tia.
Gelly - hugs. Must be so hard for you. I think you are best to speak to midwife and try and get them to refer you. It is normal for symptoms to go and come back though from what I have read.
Haven't really got much to add. I am on countdown till scan - 9 days to go. Think this week will drag.0 -
Thanks for all the good wishes, scan went fine! Couldn't really see much but the heart was beating and dated at 7w +5 which is within what I was expecting. Feel relieved for now but know the paranoia will set in again soon.
Tink I am obviously really dumb, how exactly do you wear those bands?! Is it under normal clothes or is it a cunning way of securing trousers that don't fit to your body?!
Gelly mention it to your midwife, I would emphasise that the symptoms you did have are disappearing, as I was told it is normal not to have symptoms but she checked whether I did have them to begin with. I would still say I don't have any, though do get bloated and tired, that's not much different from me normally though. I would step away from the tests, I did a search on them which shows they are not that reliable for dates and loads of people found similar problems.0 -
Hi everyone,
glad your scan went well Tia.
Gelly - understand your concerns about being without symptoms.
Afm - I was so worried regarding my faint line on pregnancy test and even though I read about hook effect was still a bit worried. So booked a private scan today at 4:30 and came back just now.
The baby is fine and saw the heart beat and everything. Now I think I should relax and enjoy this time rather than being worried.Saving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0 -
Thanks for your kind words - I know there's nothing we can do even if it has gone wrong but it's such worrying time.
Ive read so much about ladies who have used several CB digi's and had the same but have gone on to have successful pregnancies so I'm just going to have to wait until Weds and go from there.
Fantastic news Tia and Loveactually - really happy for you both
Love Gelly
