Hope you have no complications Mr knight, least they are keeping a close eye on you.

Hugs mouthscradle sounds like you are having a rough time

    Angel hope you survived work

Love actually, I just had my first midwife appointment and mentioned not feeling pregnant, she went through a list of things and I kept saying no, eventually she just said some women don't really have symptoms, and that maybe I am not as far on as I think so could be still to come. I kept quiet about having a private scan booked for Sunday in case she thought I was mad!
Anyone who has not had their midwife appointment yet and has lots of questions to ask, I suggest you write them down before you go. I had loads of questions but only remembered one during the appointment after being overwhelmed with all the form filling questions! Now I am at home keep wishing I had asked more

    I've been Money Tipped!
Love actually - we have our 12 week scans on the same day :) also the fact that you're exhausted is a sympton. It's also pretty much the only sympton I have, part of me wishes to feel sick!

The other symptom (or aversion I suppose it'd be called) is anything snot related. I know it's disgusting but when I blow my nose I'm gagging and even things like looking at egg white sets me off. I had it all the way through my other pregnancy too. Not good when my daughter and I both have colds at the moment! Does anyone else have any odd aversions? (Sorry to bring down the tone of the thread - hope nobody is eating! ;) )

Trying to live a good life on little money :T

mouthscradle, sorry to hear you've been suffering so badly with hyperemesis. Hope it gets better son and you're being well looked after.

Toooldforthis - glad your scan was a positive experience :T

tia86 - I haven't thought of any questions for the midwife yet - what did you (want to) ask?

I did get through work fine today - at least 90% of usual productivity levels and none of the shivery/nausea/headachey rubbish I've had the last few days :) My shiver-combating cardies I ordered online arrived, and they're not that thick... might keep them anyway.

angeltreats - hope your day was not as bad as expected at work!

I also meant to say congratulations and welcome Air Cooled 75 :j, sorry I'm getting forgetful. Just had my dinner baking in the middle of the oven for forty minutes, except when it was done I realised I'd just had the grill on and it was still stone cold...

    Hello

Sorry been so quiet- not much to report on as no symptoms as just tired.

Had a private scan last week and all ok , NHS one booked for last week of May

Had midwife appointment and now received NHS card.

Been having a sneaky browse at buggies etc but won't be buying anything just yet!!!

    Hi,

Please tell me off if I m unnecessarily creating problems to myself.

Today I did a first response pregnancy test and the test line was very very faint. I m freaking out now. What's going on? Does this usually happen?

Just delurking from the next thread up to say I drove myself mad doing endless tests during the first trimester and they really varied - some were much lighter than others. There are lots of reasons why this could happen and it is not necessarily a bad sign at all.

    Morning ladies!!

Hope you are all feeling well. Lovely to see a scan picture, still makes me catch my breath every time I see one.

Well I posted some time back, about 4 weeks ago, to say that we had unexpectedly got a BFP. I say unexpectedly as although I wasn't on the pill, it was only my second month off it and DS took about 2 years to conceive!

Anyway since then it's been a bit of a rollercoaster, we had a lovely family holiday with DS, I had my booking in appointment with the midwife but sadly my husband’s nan passed away. We hadn't told the family about the baby yet as we wanted to wait for the first scan mainly because I have had no symptoms whatsoever, well apart from being tired so wasn't entirely convinced I am pregnant. That said I didn’t have any symptoms with DS. Anyway the day before she died we had some time alone with her and although she wasn't really in a conscious state we told her of the news. It was strange as she also opened her eyes that day which apparently she hadn’t done in the last 4 days. She died the next day but we were glad we told her.

Anyway today I have my first scan, if my dates are correct I reckon I am 13 +2. We promised if all is ok we'd get a scan picture and it will go in her coffin with her.

Well I hope everyone has a good day and the beans are well behaved!

Thanks for that Lisa. Never knew about that.
I might be thinking more rationally now
