hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

ttc39 I've never heard anything so silly as a <12 week group session! Good on you challenging it. Hope your scan app arrives soon.

Monty - hope your meeting went ok yesterday? I would defo follow some of the great advice from the ladies and fight for what you are entitled to. To me, it sounds like they are trying to get rid of you because of your pg, which is totally illegal. Let us know how you got on.

Quick question, I was wondering how long you had to wait for your scan date to come in? I called my dr almost two weeks ago and she said she would refer me to the community mw team. I've not heard anything from them yet, so I was wondering how long it would be? I'm 10+1 and have had an early scan, but have lots of questions moving forward and am keen to chat to a mw!

    xx

Sewit - I would chase up the docs / mw that does seem like a while not to have heard anything.

TTC39 the group appointment sounds ludicrous, I've never heard of such a thing.

    Tink how are you feeling?

I can't believe I'm saying this but I don't feel bad enough to be pregnant. I'm 6+5 and have been tired (but that could equally be blamed on a very stressful job), and slight nausea a couple of afternoons but that could be from being greedy and eating bad stuff. The only really out of the ordinary thing is the period-style cramps I get on and off. So I am still wondering if I'm making it all up.

Are you all having "proper" symptoms?

    No !!!

No sore boobies no fatigue no sickness no nothing only thing I feel is terrified :(

If I hadn't poas and missed my af I would say I wasn't pg :(.

Seeing the mw tomorrow which is also stressing me.

We are having our scan on Monday (7w) with my fertility consultant at the moment I am expecting them to call me a fraud :(

I would definitely be giving the doctors another call. I went to the doctors the day after I found out as I was on medication so had to get advice on that but he referred me to the mw there and then and I got my scan appointment through before my mw appointments. 2 weeks to go for mine :D.

Nope not been sick once only retched a few times, have had sore boobs but they've calmed down. Although feel quite poo today. It's mainly fatigue, bloatedness, constipation, and eating everything in sight for me. None of the 'typical' symptoms really. It's different for everyone and I agree to feeling like a fraud until I have the scan.

I agree with the fraud thing as there's nothing to 'see' at the moment. Just keep looking forward to Monday and hopefully you'll stop feeling terrified.

Alioops -I am the same! Have hardly felt nauseous, no sickness. But like you I am tired, bloated and not as regular as I'd like. I am eating all the time, honestly its ridiculous. I've taken to having two light lunches which seems to help but I still feel hungry all the time.

Have had to admit defeat in the bra stakes, going to get measured tonight as my own are so uncomfortable! Am going to mothercare as they seem to have an ok selection of reasonable priced bras.

Didn't manage to call Dr today but will do tomorrow. In Scotland your scan and booking apt are at the same time. X

  • My morning sickness symptoms have lessened today. Only 6 weeks so bit concerned about that really.

Boobs still kill though, so that's a good sign. Plus I'm still bloated.

    How's everyone else's morning sickness?

Thanks MrsCtobe I think danielleandnic and whattodonow have both moved up to the next thread so they can be taken off x

I don't want to take them off as that means I'm top of the list and next to move on! I will actually be 13 weeks this Thursday when I go for my scan so have been staying on here until then and I know everything is fine. Here goes though....

    The list
    MrsC....tobe (now just MrsC) 17-10-14 12wk scan 10/04
    Monty-doggy (27-10-14)
    SewIt (03-11-14) 8 week scan 24/03 - 12 week scan ??
    Alioops78 (04-11-14) 12 week scan 22/04
    Ttc39 (13-11-14)
    Frankieloo (23-11-14)
    Angeltreats (29-11-14)
    Alizee (1-12-14)
    Tinkwings (1-12-14) scan 14/4/14
    Wendz86 (2-12-14)
    Runmichellerun (2-12-14)
    star 02 (8-12-14) early scan 18-04-14

I agree with the feeling like a fraud thing, still nothing to see and nothing to feel although I still feel mega carp some days and have the tiredness, sore boobs and bloatedness aswell. Someone told me on Sunday that her daughter had commented that she could see a wee bump....I was like 'no that's just fat' lol (I've put on a stone since Christmas and stopped my previous way of eating on 5:2). I suppose it will be real come Thursday!

Just been trying on some maternity clothes that I bought in the last Next sale. Did what was logical in my mind and got some stuff at really good prices and with 28 days to return, if all was not well at the scan I can still return them. It's logical in my mind, others wouldn't think so but I'm MSE after all!
