So sorry vodkashot, please look after yourself and talk to people about what has happened, even if it is online on a similar thread. It will help comfort a lot.
I have my scan next Thursday and I'm constantly thinking about whether things will be ok and there's nothing to see or feel. I tried on a dress on Friday night for last nights function and my way of eating has changed so much I looked about 5 months. It was nearly ditched for jeans and a top but I stuck on the sook me in tights instead and that was much better!

Today is day three of our event, hubby asked this morning how it felt to wake on a Sunday without a hangover.....I feel hungover!!! I ache all over after being on me feet from 7am Friday til midnight, then yesterday 7am til 1.30am! Might have to let others do the running about today before I fall down. That's if I manage to get out of bed and get there anytime soon!

Tomorrow may be a write off......

Vodkashot, I'm sorry you lost your little one. Mc is so hard to get through. When you're ready look on the mc thread. It helped me. And speak to someone in real life too.

Vodka hope you are doing ok sending more hugs and love I did find the mc thread very helpful . I can say I know how you feel from my own experiences but also know that we are all different. All I can say is be kind to yourself and take time to grieve and recover emotionally and physically xxxxxx

Good grief Monty to be honest with you I'd go to the HR meeting and listen to everything they have to say and when they reach the point of asking if you have any questions etc just stand up and hand them your resignation and walk out lol, it's what I would do.

Good luck with it tomorrow xx

So on Wednesday I am due to meet my new MW ..... feeling very apprehensive about it as my last MW had been through all my PG/MC's with me and knew all my history etc etc and had agreed that when I became PG again that I would have early care in place etc but she has gone back into the hospital now so it's a new MW to start over with........... I just hope that she listens to me and is able to put into place the help & care that I am going to need
    .....
I guess I don't want to have a battle on my hands for something that was previously agreed :(
Hope it doesn't make me sound selfish...................

You don't sound selfish at all you sound like a mummy who wants to do right by her baby.
And now is the time to absolutely be selfish and look after number one xxxx

Definitely not selfish you need to do everything you can to make this pregnancy as stress free as possible and if somethings already been agreed, even with another midwife, it should be followed through.

Hopefully what was discussed is on your records and you're worrying about nothing.

I am popping back from the next thread to add to this- after seeing a mc specialist, my GP referred me early for mw for reassurance and support and she was utterly useless. I managed to refer myself to the EPU this time, and swapped mw after my first appointment to the other mw who is based at our practice, who actually listens to what I have to say.

I am sure my experience was a one off, but if you don't feel you are getting the support you need, keep making lots of noise about it, and don't worry one bit about sounding selfish xxx

Tink - hope the new midwife is helpful. You are definitely not selfish for wanting support.

My daughter woke up yesterday with chicken pox. From what I have read I am ok as I have had it before. We are going away to the lake district tomorrow as is my cousins wedding on saturday. Hoping she will be ok by then, most websites say stops being infectious about 5 days after first spots so we will see. Kids have impeccable timing...
