GP has said there's no medical reason I can't fly but its a long journey and it will be very tiring. Have brought the scan forward to Monday so I have a bit more time to decide but I think we are going to cancel.
If anything happened I would blame myself. Holidays will always be there. We are thinking of driving away for a few days instead.
Glad it all went well Whattodono.
Wendz86 does sound like a lot to think about but exciting at the same time.0 -
*delurking* Vodka shot hope you are ok, I know what a worrying time this is for you.
I had a big bright red bleed at 10wks in the early hours of the Sunday morning/ Monday. The epu couldn't see me till the Tuesday afternoon which was two days of torture. We had a holiday (4.5hr flight) booked leaving that Friday.
Thankfully things turned out yo be ok in so far as I had/have a heamatoma. I asked at the epu if I could still fly and they said yes and recommended the usual exercises and stretching. The bleeding I had continued for a few wks after (brown blood so old) and when I had my 12wk scan they could see it was clotting. It's stopped for now thankfully and I'm just kero in fan eye.
Also I phoned my insurer and they said no issues with cover during pregnancy as not an illness.
I hope sharing my story was useful and all goes well on Monday xBaby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Biggest hugs to all in need.
Not been having a good few days feels like I am going a bit crazy... I just need to get things in place with the MW on Wednesday in the hope that I can get some assistance and reassurance........
I have my first fair of the year tomorrow I am so nervous about it so that probably isn't helping the situation.
Just want to press fast forward
I went to visit a dear friend today who has had several MC's like me but sadly her mum has terminal cancer so we both needed each other to lean on and eat cake.....
This is so frustrating ...........
Sorry to ramble..............If you can think it........it will happen0 -
Oh tinkwings I'm sorry you're feeling that way. Are you going to ask the midwife for an early scan to put your mind at ease?
Good luck with the fair I'm sure you'll be fine.
Rambling is what we're all here for.
