Hi runmichellerun - same day as me
Angeltreats - first appointment with midwife is normally a booking one but might be different in your area. Hope it goes ok! I have to go see doctor first which is happening on friday then i need to arrange my booking in.
Just delurking to say my first appointment with the midwife was not a booking in. Can't remember what they called it - something like a registration appointment or something (not that...but something similar!) This was at about 6 weeks and I then had my booking in appt at 10 weeks.
The first appointment seemed to be sort of to get me in the system and get some basic information. Then the booking in appointment had loads of forms and medical history questions and so on.
Good luck!0 -
afternoon ladies
I have been stressing today & yesterday as I have been having lots of pain it's really hard to describe not like af pain but feels like it's in my foofoo it seems to come & go in waves so given my history I am expecting the worst.
One day at a time ........... One day at a time.............
Just delurking - I had lady parts sore to the touch where the pubic bone is but not in waves. Like I'd bruised it. I VERY VERY much hope is all ok for you. I can't think what to suggest other than keeping quiet physically and mentally distracted by anything. :grouphug: such a stressful time. Tinkwings I have those pains every couple of days. Everything has been ok so far.
AFM I went for my 2nd 12 week scan today. My appt was 1:25 and I didn't get out until 3:15!!! The baby was being a little monkey and wouldn't let the MW do the NT measurements. Got to go back tomorrow and hopefully bean should have moved.
I will be moving onto the next thread.... See you soon ladies

I had that pain down below yesterday but it’s gone today.
Keep on with the one day at a time, that’s what I’m telling myself.
I’m bleeding still, been over 2 weeks now but little Embi (my bean’s pet name) is fine. Went to A&E today as I had a bit of clotting and it freaked me out. Kind of used to the bleeding now in a weird way.
The nurse said it’s now a threatened miscarriage. Just got to keep hoping for the best.
I know it’s hard, the hardest time in my life but stay brave.0 -

Delurking again - Sounds so frightening honey. I googled it and it seems that this can mean any bleeding during pg? If it helps, clairec gave birth 10 days ago to a lovely baby and bled throughout. Seems to be a relatively common (quick google suggests about 20% of women before the 20th week) but unspoken symptom in pg which is the HARDEST to deal with because of all of them its associated with the worst worry. :grouphug:Met DH to be 2010
